PDM specializes in designing and manufacturing polyurethane protective packaging. At PDM we provide several different densities to support all your packaging needs. Premolded polyurethane is also offered in a variety of colors to best suit your preferences. We provide three dimensional packaging solutions to a wide variety of industries including: automotive, appliances, medical, and electronics.
EPP; expanded polypropylene is another excellent packaging option, with its availability in either fabricated or molded forms. This EPP material is available in a variety of densities. EPP is a beaded product that provides excellent cushioning properties at lower densities and at lower costs when compared to other packaging materials.
PDM can also aid in designing and manufacturing polyethylene for your packaging needs. We can engineer any custom solution that fits the needs of your company. We will provide a design that will protect your product regardless of shape, weight, or size. Polyethylene foam (PE) is very resilient foam used extensively in protective packaging.
Using our foam molding capabilities, we designed and manufacture this premolded cooler for a client in the cold chain shipping industry. Manufacturing this we use a high density polyurethane foam, the premolded cooler is white in color and had a top as well as bottom pad. The total internal storage volume of the cooler was 16"x16"x16".
We manufacture a part handling tray for an aircraft part manufacturer to facilitate internal part handling. This is made from white expanded polystyrene material, the tray is 17.875" long by 17.625" wide and features 22 cavities for holding the parts. Made from 1.375 thick EPS material, these trays are fabricated and assembled to corrugate.
