The Meadows Hotel has been part of the Fulton, KY landscape since 1901. Built by Mr. W.W. Meadows, it was a fine 100 room hotel to serve the guests of the Illinois Central Railroad, riding on 32 passenger trains a day. In 1933 a massive fire destroyed two-thirds of the building, leaving only what you see today.
Today the Meadows is a historic boutique hotel with 20 luxurious rooms, and a full-service bar and restaurant. Our dedicated staff works daily to ensure our standards of luxury are high, to ensure each guest will enjoy and appreciate their stay. The Meadows Hotel features 20 rooms, each styled as authentically as possible to a different time period.

I come to town for 3 days (family funeral) The desk clerk cannot figure out there system to take payment and tells me to pay before checkout. I go for the "free breakfast " but closed and received a voice-mail threatening my arrest for skipping the bill when I went out again. I come back with a note on my door. Payed and went back to receive "free breakfast " for the second time. Still closed. I will spend my next two days at a better establishment.

Not what was expected from other glowing reviews. Pros: lovely restored building, clean room, comfortable bed, walk in shower. There is a bar and restaurant adjacent to the lobby, which is a nice convenience and we enjoyed a happy hour drink and a delicious dinner after a long day on the road. Cons: unfortunately there is a piano in the main lobby next to the bar. The night we stayed, we had barely gone to sleep when we woke up about 10 pm to loud singing. My husband ended up getting out of bed and going downstairs. People were gathered around the piano singing and the owner said the cut off time

Loved finding this place on our way to Colorado. We avoid expressway travel whenever possible, and love finding places like this. The staff has been great. We had an EXCELLENT cocktail and a delicious meal at dinner. The interior had been completely renovated, our room was very nice. On the negative side it's 10 minutes until 7:00 on a Sunday morning, there is no coffee service in the room, and there is no coffee available in the dining room or the lobby. Apparently the free continental breakfast doesn't exist on Sunday, and the dining room is not open. So a few little glitches.

The Meadows Hotel is a small boutique fully restored establishment with a good atmosphere and restaurant. It's grandeur is beautiful!
We had the privilege of staying in the Presidential suite and it didn't disappoint. Every detail has been thought of in this grand room!
If you want to entertain there is plenty of room. When entering the suite area there is a separate seating area and large bathroom separate from the room. The suite includes a full size ice machine, small refrigerator, bar, glassware, sink, microwave and large screen TV.
The king size bed is so comfortable and overlooks

I love getting to stay at The Meadows any chance i can!
Each of the rooms is so unique and elegant, it is always such a delight to come stay at The Meadows hotel. The rooms are always made so neatly and are spectacularly clean and very cozy. Each room is so unique and I always enjoy staying in a new room each time -- every suite and room is beautiful and uniquely decorated in the style of the hotel's elegance and class.
The restaurant in the lobby of the hotel is just fabulous and definitely worth trying when you're here in town-- The Meadows is truly a gem and I'm so thrilled that

The hotel looked gorgeous on AirBNB so my girlfriend booked it. We showed up and Jan at the desk didn't even know they took reservation through AirBNB. Jeff, the owner and man who's face is on the AirBNB link, initially refused to leave his private party he was attending. Jan, said sorry and recommended some chain hotels tens of miles away. After telling Jan that it was very poor customer service that the man whose face and name are on the account that posted the room which was confirmed and prepaid for didn't have the common courtesy to step out of his party, Jan went back into

This hotel is dressed to impress! What a wonderful place. From the building to the staff, 10 out of 10, would do again! When we pulled up to park in the rear parking, I was immediately impressed with how cozy it felt, with the gas lamp fixtures by the back door and the outdoor patio with furniture where I could see myself sitting to enjoy a drink from the bar later. Enter and it's an educational experience with old pictures lining the walls of the hall way detailing the rich history of the hotel from the early 1900's which the kids enjoyed. The staff were warm and helpful. The room blew

Really can't say enough about this property. In all honesty, I live 1 mile away, but I have stayed here for events. My company utilizies this hotel for VIP clients & the service is second to none. I actually think they revisit because of the unforgettable stay.
Many have requested the name of the mattress & pillow manufacturers. The restaurant is upscale & laid back all at the same time. Steaks to Salmon, they have it. Even wine & Champagne by the bottle.
It's the only place to stay in the Ken Tenn area that gives you southern hospitality with a city vibe.

Stayed her due to an activity at UT Martin. Would have never heard of it, but the Hampton Inn suggested it due to them only having king rooms left. We booked in advance. Was told we would be in room 9, and that was emailed to us. We knew we were going to be checking in late, the front desk called us to confirm our arrival and tell us about their late check in process (desk closes at 10).
We get there and key to room 13 is left for us. Room 13 is a king, not the double we reserved for the 3 people in our group. We called the fd, already closed and left a message. Went to the bar, and they were

The Meadows Hotel is a fabulous boutique hotel right in the middle of downtown Fulton, Kentucky. The place is over 100 years old, meticulously restored and refurbished, and completely up to modern standards.
It's charming from bottom to top!
The lobby features an old time corner entrance off the street. Inside you'll find the manager's counter and the bellhop's stand. The lobby is tastefully decorated with plenty of comfortable seating that looks out on the street. Accommodations are VERY reasonable.
You can take the elevator or use the stairs to reach your room.
