Services
We specialize in water production wells. We service and drill wells to procure water for our customer, and we primarily work on residential projects, for drinking water supply and irrigation uses. For our residential clients, we believe that we can offer you a well that is as good as the well that the city gets their water from.
Unlike municipal water sources, which are regulated by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, private wells are the responsibility of homeowners. That means the city and the state of Washington will not test private water sources for harmful bacteria or contaminants.
It is recommended that well owners have their water tested at least once every year and also after significant flooding, or any changes in water quality (taste, odor, clarity), to ensure your water is safe for drinking. The most common bacteria that Washington well owners need to be concerned with is total coliform bacteria, fecal coliform, and e-coli.

Washington water filtration & treatment systems are designed to remove harmful pathogens from your water supply. Whether the concern is nitrates, iron, arsenic or bacteria, a properly designed, installed, and operated water treatment system can deliver peace of mind to a growing family. If you want pure water from every faucet within your home, including at the washing machine, you'll need what is generally called a Point of Entry system (POE).
When you think about your drinking water, you may never have related hard water to having a lot of impurities, but that is exactly the case. You can cure this by having your Washington water conditioning contractor install a water conditioning system for your family. This will get rid of those impurities and provide clean and pure water for your family.
Well pumps require tanks and controls to operate efficiently and safely. A well pump system delivering pressure to the home will require a pressure tank, a pressure switch or sensor, and a motor controller - either a solid state system or a variable speed drive.
Variable Speed Drives, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's), or Constant Pressure Systems offer on-demand style pump performance - as pressure drops, the drive will raise the pump motor RPM to try to match the downstream demand on the water system and hold the pressure near constant.A typical constant pressure system will be set to hold the pressure in the house near 50-70 PSI.

Update. When we purchased our place in 2012 there was a community well goin in at the same time. Pierce gave us advise to re-new our old on site well because our house would not hit the close date if we waited for the community well. He was right. Our new well still works great after 12 years and no community well fees. Thanks Pierce.

We contacted JKA for inspecting and testing the existing well on a piece of property we recently purchased. Kevin was extremely professional and helpful. He clearly is an expert in wells and water supplied from wells. He also offered some helpful advice regarding the future implementation for our build. Thank you Kevin and JKA!

Kevin came out to change out our filter and UV bulb which we do once a year. Kevin was very thorough and helpful and went the extra mile to also educate us on some things. I was very impressed and will ask for him again.

I came to JKA for a well repair on a home I had just purchased. The previous owners had done basically no maintenance on the well and the water went out just TWO DAYS after we moved in, right in the middle of a heat wave. JKA moved schedules around and were able to get us up and running much faster than we expected as well as worked with me on getting the parts quickly. Now we have the best water pressure I've ever had with water quality we love. I can't recommend them enough!!

The booster pump to my house died on me, so we had no water. I called around quite a bit and JKA was fast to respond and came by later that day. Kevin replaced the pump the day after that. Overall he was super professional, knowledgeable and courteous. All the things you'd want. If you want the job done right, call these folks. They know what they're doing.

Had a significant issue with silt/sand in our well water as well as a pump that kept loosing power. JKA was quick to arrange an assessment and did a great job remediating the problem. The silt/sand has gone away, our water flow is better than ever thanks to a well refurbish/pump replacement that removed over 50 feet of sand in the bottom of our well. Service was friendly and they suffered my endless questions well. Thanks!

JKA did an awesome jump replacing my well pump last November. It went out right after Thanksgiving and we had just a trickle of water coming into the house. We have a newer house but the builder hooked up an old well that was preexisting on the property. They were trying to save a few bucks. We didn't know the pump was 20 years old and on its last leg. It never worked right from day one.
We have had great water pressure since JKA replaced the pump and removed the silt from the old well. Everything works better than it ever has at our house and we have great water pressure. They were very quick

Hey Pierce, I'm back. I see you've been able to have my post taken down as usual. Like I said, I will post on here until the day I die, since your family, your dad especially, decided to kill my dog. Ran her over in front of my driveway. POS truck you were all in, Accelerated hard and you could see, in the snow ,on the street, how your tires veered toward her just 30 feet from my driveway. Then you try and get your dog in your truck and leave. You horrible people killed an awesome dog that day, for no good reason at all. Never got a apology, unless being called every dirty name in the

JKA installed a pump for our community well sometime ago and while it was still under warranty, the pump failed. Granted, the labor was no longer under warranty, but they told us that they were busy and couldn't honor the pump's warranty until sometime in September.
That means that we would have to wait between three and seven weeks to get it replaced!
I wouldn't recommend this company unless you are willing to wait a month for water when you have a problem with the products they install.

As a co- business owner myself for 30 years I understand the difficulty in maintaining great staff and being responsive and competitive with the market.
That said, nothing excuses the rude way you ended your call. There would have been many ways you could have explained your policy that a client could understand but you chose to think what's in it for yourself instead of doing your best for a customer
I'm sure not all your jobs are $8-10,000 or possibly more jobs and am also sure that you get many that are a few hundred. No one is guaranteed they get chosen every time in any field

Can't speak to their well servicing abilities. They never returned my calls or e-mail.
Originally sent them an e-mail asking for service on irrigation well pump that stopped working. They never responded.
I called and left a message. Waited two days without a response and then left another message. Again, never received the courtesy of a response.

JKA drilled a new well for our community system in east King County. We had a 35 year old water source serving 8 homes that over the years slowed to a point of not being able to keep up any longer.
With a community system it was complicated, but JKA was great in pointing us in the right direction to get necessary permits and engineering in place. They were clear on requirements, paperwork and lead us through the project. Their online estimation, approval and payment process is easy enough to work with too.
Knowing we were running out of water they prioritized our project. Once we had State

My well pump stopped working this morning and they had a guy out before noon to look at it. Turned out to be the pump control box and he didn't have the one I needed. One of his guys (Rich) on the way home on Friday afternoon in his personal vehicle came and installed it so I wouldn't have to wait until Monday. Both guys were extremely friendly and professional.
