We are a local, family-owned in-home care service providing superior, affordable, and compassionate health care to the Columbia area, and 37 total counties in South Carolina. We were founded by a registered nurse, and we are not a large franchise - we are people focused, not profit driven.
The inspiration for our name was Florence Nightingale and we are committed to bringing the same heartfelt compassion and stringent competence to our clients as the Lady with the Lamp brought to the field of nursing all those years ago.

The inspiration for the founding of our business and for each of our nurses, attendants, and staff, has been Florence Nightingale, and we wish to bring our clients her legacy of skill and kindness, with affordable rates at competitive prices, as well as free nursing supervision on a regular and ongoing basis.
To provide a caregiving ministry to the vulnerable of all ages who may require additional assistance to remain in the comfort of their own home, rather than being forced into institutionalized care and to strive diligently to elevate the standards of In-Home care in SC as we work and advocate on their behalf.
The seed for Nightingale's Nursing and Attendants was first planted in the living room of our founder, Gloria Kasler, a Florence, South Carolina RN, sitting at her home computer generating ideas to improve the quality of care in SC homes. By 2001, she had founded Nightingale's, and accepted her first client in 2002.
Nightingale's Nursing of Camden has been the preferred home care service to families all across South Carolina for nearly 20 years! Our many years of experience and highly trained staff prepares us to bring the best quality service for numerous needs in the homes of SC. We are committed to bringing the best level of compassionate, experienced customer care to the Camden, Lancaster, and Kershaw areas.
A: Often caring for a loved one reaches a point where standard care by a friend or family member just doesn't measure up. It becomes too intricate or time consuming or even just too much for one person to handle. Nightingale's Nursing is here to provide the professionally trained staff your loved one needs and deserves.

I've worked in 4 different states with covering a wide range of positions and I can honestly say that I've never seen a place like Nightingale's. These people truly have a heart for their employees and their clients. My family had to make an emergency trip back to TN several months ago due to an unexpected death. I don't know that I've ever told a single person here where my hometown was, but when I walked in the funeral home 620 miles away I found a flower arrangement and card from my Nightingale's family encouraging me during the hard time. This company is truly one of a kind.

Our family has been extremely pleased with Nightingales, FLORENCE. After previously receiving seriously lacking services from poorly trained and uninformed caregivers, we wanted to try Nightingales. We met with them and explained the needs of our loved one. They were understanding,compassionate and reassuring and we have never regretted our decision.

I watched this company go all in for their customer. I'm a plumber Nightingale Nursing hired to fix a few plumbing issues one of their patients was having. Not only did they do that, they had a whole team of nurses cleaning his home before he came home for home care. I don't know if they do this for all their patients but I was very impressed with how much appreciation they showed a long time customer. I would recommend them for care taken because they show that they truly care. Salute!

I have worked with this company for 3+ years. They empower me to take care of my clients the way I would want my family taken care of. God made me a caretaker by heart and they empower me to be there for my clients so they can live the best life. They send me to do client education how their diagnosis affects their lives. Some people have multiple diagnosis and they get training just for them.,I train the caregiver outside and inside the home.Nightingales's goal is to empower and assist our clients to live a healthy,happy life in their own home. I love this sweet caring group of people! They make us feel very cared for and my parents LOVE them even more than I do! The caregivers enjoy their benefits here and their weekly direct deposits make it easy for them! When they need to be off, we get a fill in and they get a paid day off! Wonderful service with easily accessible nursing supervisors! Monica and Jolene are especially super nice! I highly recommend you try them if you have a loved one that needs care or if you are looking for a good place to work as an aide or a private duty nurse! They do it all!
