We have the ability, the experience and the equipment to provide all types of welding services in the Asheville area. The type of project normally determines if we use TIG, MIG or Stick welding for the job. On the projects page of this website we display a few metal fabricating projects we have done in the Asheville area.
Over the past 20 years we have performed all different types of welding and metal fabricating jobs. For almost 20 years Ray's Metal Fabricating has been prototyping, designing, manufacturing, and repairing all kinds of metal fabricated parts and assemblies. One-offs, prototypes, short to long production runs, and repairs of existing metal fabricating are all within our area of expertise.

Services
Ray's Fabricating can take a project from idea to completed working model. Depending on the project, we can offer design and engineering services, 2D and 3D CAD drawings, and drawings for patent applications. We partner with other area metal fabricating in Asheville for special services such as machining, punching, stamping, forming etc. that can not be performed in-house.
Stick welding is a manual arc welding process that uses a consumable electrode coated in flux to lay the weld. An electric current, in the form of either alternating current or direct current from a welding power supply, is used to form an electric arc between the electrode and the metals to be joined.
Below are a few comments form some of our metal fabricating and welding clients in the Asheville area. If you would like to share your experience with others, please use our Contact Form. Too bad there isn't a 6th star for this exceptional small business owner! I took a special order to Ray for a pair of odd-shaped, large brackets off my deck to support the legs of a large canopy.
