I researched this shop before my first purchase three-four years ago. Yep...Alabama....in the USA. Sure the clothes aren't made there, but at least it is an American shop with AMERICAN sizes!!!! I love to buy the dresses. The embroidered are my favorite. I have never purchased one thing where the quality was poor. I now get gift cards for gifts because my friends and family KNOW........My daughter just made her first purchase, a dress for an upcoming wedding. She is petite and was able to find a perfect fit! Love The Mint!!!!

Pandemic online shopping is something I avoided for a while, but the bug got me. My friend had a super cute maxi dress she ordered online, so i ventured over to the site to see if there was anything that caught my eye. (I'd have loved to get a maxi dress, but i am short and they look frumpy on me.) The website's sorting and filtering system needs some work. I went around in circles trying to find sizes i was selecting, and then found they did not have my size in several pieces that were included in my filtered search. Oh well. The clothes are dated, they don't update for the winter. They don't really follow any trends, ie- no plaid for winter 2019 when that's the biggest trend. I ordered a romper off of the site in June that didn't zip because the zipper was put on wrong and kept getting stuck on the fabric, so I returned and got store credit only. I have been watching the site for 6 months now..hoping for something to show up that I could use the credit on..they just don't have nice clothes.

Went to return 1 product out of a batch of 4 where I received a $10 discount and they sent a gift card for $10 less instead of taking a percentage applied across all items for the discount. I also had to pay return shipping costs and they don't refund to your card, ONLY STORE CREDIT. The quality is also very poor and customer service puts blame on the customer. Buyer beware!

I have been to Mint Julep 5-10 times and never found anything I wanted to buy. But today, I found a cute little tank top and tried to buy it, only for no one to even bother coming over to check me out. No employees were even anywhere to be found. Needless to say I put the tank top down and left. Unimpressed.

Their clothes are trash. They removed their review option on Facebook because they know their quality is horrendous. Over priced. Beware. The dress I received was like something you buy on eBay from China and it looks similar to the picture and they can justify it, but it's not as good as the online picture.

If you sent an electronic gift card, check with the recipient to ensure that they received the full amount. My recipient received half of the value charged to my credit card even though I made them aware of the mistake and received a response via email, early yesterday afternoon. I expected it to be corrected prior to delivery. Very disappointing.

I will start off by saying their clothes are really gorgeous! I can always find something I love whenever I shop with them. The 3 stars instead of 5 come from the quality of the clothes. They are a tad pricey but I'm perfectly fine with that considering how cute they are. What I don't like is when I buy a 50 dollar jacket and after a few wears there are small fuzz balls everywhere on it and strings fraying. I've had the same thing happen with a shirt I've purchased. After wearing once and washing according to the directions, the shirt looked like I've had it forever and

Cute clothing but over priced. Clearance clothing online looks like it should be the original pricing. Ex. $48 for a slouchy tunic? On clearance $24. It's ridiculous. It's not name brand. I would love to purchase more clothing from this place but the prices are a little much for the quality of clothing.

Great selection, website is full of cute stuff so you don't have to dig through a bunch of junk to find something worth buying. Reasonable prices depending who you are comparing them to, cheaper than similar items in a national department store but more expensive for identical items on Amazon.
Few complaints on the website is when you filter on size it often does not work - it'll come back showing me things that are not my size and things that are completely out of stock. I also often have issues with item images loading in Safari on a Mac computer, these issues aren't enough

I absolutely love The Mint Julep boutique. It's hard to find a store that carries new styles hats affordable. They started off as an online boutique and they literally had packages coming to my house weekly. They finally opened up a store front this year and I've already made the drive twice from Birmingham! Their store is absolutely breathtaking. It's looks like something Joanna Gaines styled. They have rustic wood on the walls and ship lap by the dressing rooms. Huge floor length Mirrors with huge dressing rooms. If you need an entire outfit head to toe the mint won't disappoint
