Bender Photography has raised the bar for Dance School photography for the Poconos and Warren County areas. Our system for photographing, proofing, and selling pictures to the parents of dancers is unparalleled in our area. When we set up to photograph a dance school we do it all in one take. We photograph the dancers, transmit the photos to our sales team that is also at the school and sell the pictures to the dancers all at once.

John went above and beyond to bring us the most amazing senior photos.
The book was expensive, but worth every penny. You can really tell the time he put into making it absolutely perfect. It is my favorite!!! I highly recommend getting one. The quality of our entire senior portrait package was outstanding.

So many people today call themselves photographers and say they have a photography business. But they are often times just side hustles to make some extra money. John Bender is a professional photographer with years of experience in multiple disciplines who has a passion for what he does. He really knows what he’s doing when it comes to all aspects of photography. If you want pictures that look beautiful and show your personality, I’d highly recommend Bender Photography.

I have nothing but praise for Bender Photography! John and Dixie and their staff are genuinely concerned about pleasing the customer. We have had sports photos, senior portraits and family photos taken by John.
All have been high quality and the actual photo shoot experiences were fun! Many different packages are offered, and we have never felt pressured to purchase anything that we did not want. I highly recommend Bender Photography!

The staff at Bender Photography is first rate! John is truly an artist who paints with light, Dixie goes above and beyond to create the perfect package for all budgets and needs, and Jeff is the magic sauce behind the scenes that pulls it all together. They are the worst people that I had to deal with. They go to child care places, take kids’ photographs and charge tons of money for copies. You may say I don’t have to buy, but I can’t say it to my kid, after his photograph is taken, that I don’t want to deal with a company that takes advantage of kids. Shame on you guys!

John Bender is one of the great portrait photographers. He easily fills the shoes of the likes of Larry Levy, who did the best work many years ago. Sending your child in for a senior portrait requires quite a level of trust. John's been doing great work and providing great customer service for more than 30 years now. You don't get that kind of longevity without taking care of people.
