Felt like I was representing myself in court. Spoke with the senior partner when I first approached this firm. I was told he was out of town and a junior associate would cover the initial interview. I was stuck with this junior associate for the entire two years I was battling in court. He would stay silent as my ex’s lawyer would berate me and bait me into arguments. Then I get bill after bill for a guy who did absolutely nothing for me.

I used this firm many years ago to handle my divorce. The absolute worst lawyer. He and his associate Jackie would act unilaterally taking action without my input or consent. Constantly making errors in my representation and then billed me to correct his errors. Something I refused to let him get away with. Once my divorce was finalized I filed a complaint against him with the NY Bar Association and won.

Jaqueline Harounian was recommended by my therapist who had attended one of her seminars and she will never refer clients to her again. She mishandled my case, losing me several thousand dollars, allowed my ex to harass me and even seemed to encourage it. Then she over billed me at the end, and when I complained, she was horribly rude and unprofessional. When I told my new lawyer what she had done, he encouraged me to file a grievance against her. Please don't hire this incompetent, greedy

I had an unusual custody situation that had to be handled quickly just before the holiday weekend. I contacted Wisselman, Harounian, & Associates because they were recommended and I was not disappointed. They got me an appointment right away and made sure to complete documents and have them filed with the Court before the holiday. They were attentive, caring, and concerned about protecting me and my child.

Jackie represented me during my divorce. Always v busy, always short on time. Not an in depth analysis of how to win the best terms for me. And the follow up after the divorce was catastrophic - she recommended going to family court, and it's been 8 months, four appearances, and not even a hearing on the substance of my petion. Avoid like the plague.

I honestly don't know what the other reviewers must have experienced as it sounds extremely out of character to the point of implausible. Jerry helped me get through a difficult separation, mediation and divorce without things getting costly and stupid--basically at every turn looking for a way to get an equitable outcome without lengthy or costly litigation.
