My fascination with computers started in the late 90's. Consumer PC's were barely being introduced and at that time, ran Windows 98 SE. Using a computer, back then, was a very troublesome affair. You had to do a lot more research to figure things out, compared to the latest version of Windows, Windows 7.
Diagnostic fee is waived with repair, otherwise standard rate is $50 for common diagnostic and $70 for advanced diagnostic which may require disassembly of device and further troubleshooting to find the root of the problem. In some rare cases, it is not cost effective to continue with repairs. Travel fee may be applicable depending on location.

My old PC had extensive electrical damage, possibly due to a power surge. half a dozen capacitors we blown on the motherboard and the power supply unit and the graphics card were damaged too. it was important for me to keep the old computer. Steven replaced the capacitors on the motherboard and got the PC to boot. Then he also sold me his PSU because the two I had weren't compatible. fast service, very courteous! -- thanks, P.P.
