The Cal Aero Aviation Country Club was created as a throwback to the 1920's, 30's and 40's where there were aviation country clubs around the country. The hanger's design was patterned after the Hicksville Aviation Country Club located in Long Island New York, where such notables as Charles Lindbergh, Leroy Grumman and other cradle of aviation founders were members.

We were originally scheduled to have our wedding reception here last month, but were unable to due to the coronavirus. And that was a real bummer, because our experience with Cal Aero was top-notch. From the time we toured the venue and throughout the planning process, the folks at Cal Aero were so friendly and responsive.
Let me tell you, this venue is a real hidden gem. The space features a gorgeous ready-room for the couple and their parties, as well as plenty of open space indoors and outdoors for your function. It exceeded our expectations and made us switch away from a traditional golf course

If you are looking for a very cool and unique event venue, look no further! I attended an event here and it was perfect to host our large group. There was plenty of space for dinner, games, the silent auction, dancing and much more! Not to mention the vintage decor, really neat planes on display and the airport right there with planes taking off and landing throughout the event. I also want to make note of the friendly and hardworking staff who were on top of anything we needed. Can't wait to host my next event here!

We had our 10 year High School reunion at Cal Aero Events and it was AMAZING!!!!!! Susan was extremely easy to work with and answered any questions that I had. When the day of the event came, Dean, Brandon, and Adrian were so helpful and made sure setting up and taking down the event was a piece of cake.
Everyone in our class was amazed by how beautiful the venue was. There was plenty of room to mingle, dance, eat, drink, take pictures, etc. The facilities were so clean as well.

Cal Aero is an AMAZING venue! My new husband and I had our wedding here on April 1st and we couldn't have asked for a better venue or staff. I worked closely with Jenae, their onsite coordinator, throughout the planning process and she was always easily accessible and happy to answer any questions I had about anything. She had energy for days and was so fun and easy to work with, and there was not a doubt in my mind that everything would be organized perfectly the day of the wedding. As for the venue itself, it is beautifully decorated with plenty of space, and our guests loved the indoor

My Hubs had his Christmas work party here and Wow....such a great venue!! Beautiful views of the runway, plenty of space for a lot of people, nice fireplace with outdoor seating and even Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus showed up in a retro airplane! Very impressed and definitely the best Christmas party I've ever been to.

I was in a wedding here on September 4, 2016. It was such a fun and cool venue! The staff was extremely professional and provided good recommendations to make my friend's special day perfect. The ceremony was outside with two vintage looking biplanes in the background and the reception was in the hangar that had more than enough room for a photo booth, the DJ, and all of the tables, and dance floor. One of the funnest weddings I've been to!

I have the privilege of writing this review from multiple standpoints: bride, coordinator, decor stager and a hair and makeup artist. Being apart of the wedding industry in many outlets of this industry, I pay attention to many components as to what makes a wedding memorable, run smoothly and provide an atmosphere for personality as well as a wow factor. This venue offers so many touches to allow for a backdrop from getting ready to your very last dance. Less and Susan were so wonderful to work with and really let me use there space as my own.

Attended a wedding reception here on Saturday the 21st of February 2015 in the late afternoon. When I first read on the invitation that it was going to be in a hangar at a local airport in Chino, my first initial reaction was "Huh?" But when I got there, I have to admit, the place was actually appealing.
Parking was adequate. You have stalls and when those are filled, you can park along the side of the parkway. Then you go about 50 yards to the hangar. Of course, it is gated so not just anybody can drive around in there. You walk through a gated door and then you are right there virtually

This place is beautiful...here for a friends wedding and omg I can honestly say that they were on top of everything making this so easy for the bride and groom.They let us park our Mitsubishi Lancers and Evo's inside the hangar with the guests it looked amazing.The bride had her car on one side and the groom had his car on the other, while we parked our cars next to each other.Never once were they rude about it or even when we needed to remove the cars so they could set up the tables.All they did was ask politely and it was done.Thank you John and Fer! for allowing us to be a part of your

My wife and I had an amazing wedding and reception in the Cal Aero Aviation Country Club hanger. We listened to our 125 guests rave about "the best wedding setting & theme" for the past 2 weeks on Facebook and many said "they didn't want to leave at the end of the night."
Owners Les & Susan Whittlesea worked diligently with us to create our perfect day. They recommending our wedding coordinator couple, Alex & Jackie who were there every step of the way. Many thanks to all the staff and friends who helped make our special day the best experience.
