In 1999, Brent and Tracey McKee took a leap of faith and started their own company. Brent's background is in the financial and sales side of business and Tracey is 3rd generation family from the furniture and design industry. It was their destiny, it seems, to have their own venture.
After registering 2 company names with the state of California, their friends memorably intervened at a dinner party to tell them how awful their company name options were!They all banded together that night and decided on a different, and very original one- their last name! With that out of the way, and with lots of prayer and planning, McKee & Company(R) began.

McKee and Company has the most beautiful furniture, accessories and gifts. The store is just exquisite! I have been a client of theirs for 15 years and most of my furniture and accessories are from their store. Tracey is a very talented designer and she chooses the coolest things for the store and her clients. I am a big fan!

This place is awesome! I have installed many fixtures from this company and have worked with them directly on many of my jobs. I would have to say that not only have all of my customers been extremely happy with the service they have received, I've never had any issues or problems with any of the fixtures installed. Dana Spreen is a very talented designer and my customers have nothing but great things to say about her abilities to help them select the right items for their home. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for any quality light fixture, or home accessory.

I ended up working with the owner Tracey McKee to help furnish and accessorize my house. She is not only the sweetest person I've worked with, but amazingly talented. She transformed our house and I LOVE everything. They have excellent quality and access to way beyond what is in the store. I also appreciated that even when I was suggesting replacing an item there were many times, when she would say to leave it because it fit well or fit within our current lifestyle...which I appreciated.

McKee & Company is my favorite store -- wait, it's also my favorite place to hang out! Treat yourself to this experience; this beautiful, spacious store is filled with style, sweet fragrances, and warm and friendly sales people. You can find elegant pieces to furnish an entire room or pick up a unique gift for a friend or family member, but one thing you can't do is leave empty-handed! And don't forget to check out the small jewelry selection for some lovely pieces that make great gifts.
