Active Learning Centers
At Active Learning Centers, we believe in care the old fashioned way. You'll find no televisions or video games here. We run, play, explore, and discover with your child as they learn the benefits of being healthy and happy. Our program focuses on acquiring a strong set of moral values, developing an unbelievable non-quitting spirit, and being aware of possibly unsafe situations.

All children enrolled in Active Learning Centers may participate in the Martial Arts Beginner Program for no additional tuition. What is PBIS? Positive Behavior Interventions and Support is a system designed to allow children of all ages and ability levels to function at their highest possible level by designing environments and supports that cater to the needs of the group or the child individually.
Services
We are your second family. We build the qualities and character traits you are teaching at your dinner table, and support the lessons of your home. Our principles and values come from the Martial Arts culture that is at the root of our history. We believe in focusing on traits like courage, honesty, focus, respect, and many more.
Our Breinigsville childcare location moves from Tek park to the Trexlertown Shopping Center, next to Burlington! This new buildout increased our capacity and made our martial arts side larger, as well as made us more conveniently located. It's been our honor to be designed Best of the Valley by Lehigh Valley Magazine since 2012.
Here at ALC, we know how tough a choice you're making. That's why we've built everything about our infant program by asking ourselves the question: what would you expect if you were dropping off your precious baby with a trusted family member? Then we strive to give your baby (and you!) just that. You won't catch babies being left in cribs for hours.
Looking for toddler care? If you want to see "where the fun is at" in our centers, make your way to our toddler rooms. We separate our toddlers into Toddler 1, Toddler 2 and Toddler 3 rooms. When a child first comes to one of our centers, we have one of our licensed professional staff assess their readiness and place them accordingly.
Preschool and pre-k is when the young minds in our care really get put to work! Of course there is a lot of learning that goes on in the younger years, but by the time children reach preschool age, they've grasped many of the basics and are really ready to learn. And do they! We introduce them to specific learning points throughout the day, covering letters, numbers, colors, and reading, both directed and independent.

Active Learning Center discriminate my child because he don’t speak in English very well also They don’t know how to handle active kids. This daycare don’t have the appropriate staff of trained teachers, they cannot cope with 3 year old child.!
And the best thing is that he have to wear a mask all day- and I heard from teacher that he don’t know how to wear a mask so he supposed to practice at home!!!
My child was there for 1 week and he got suspension for 2 days. So I decided to terminate the contract but
they still want me to pay for two weeks!
Be aware!!!

ALC is AWESOME! Especially their new Trexlertown location. We’ve been apart of ALC for almost 2 years now and it astounds me how much he learns! He always talks about how much he loves his school, teachers, and the friends he’s made there. The staff are fantastic and always willing to help and we love the variety of programs offered! I’d certainly recommend ALC!

Our ALC experience for our 9 yo school age son and 14 month toddler has been an altogether positive experience. Daily activities for our toddler are incredible and the kindness of his teachers is visible in their interactions with him and his classmates. We are happy with the opportunities that our older son is given before and after his school day, as well. Highly recommend ALC for families seeking childcare!

I think the hardest part of selecting a day care center is finding a place where you know that your child is being more than just "watched." It has been such a comfort this year, knowing that my little one is not only in qualified, capable, and experienced hands, but that he is also being loved and cherished! My little one has thrived this year at Active Learning Centers: Beginnings, in Breinigsville! I highly recommend this center!

Friendly staff great caregivers for my child. It feels like family at Active Learning Centers: Beginnings. I enjoy the safe and secure environment that my daughter goes to school in. She loves mat time where she can actively tumble as much as her little heart desires.

My son attended their preschool program last year. He started during the summer sessions which he loved but then when he began the regular school year he hated it.

The summer program teacher was an actual director of another school and teaches in the summer because she obviously loves what she does. She has many years under her belt and is companionate towards all of the children and it shows. Zak absolutely loved Ms India and we loved her too. It was always a pleasure to speak to her.

The teachers for the regular school year however, were young and inexperienced with children and always had

Love it love it love it!
The staff is wonderful with our daughter; all very kind and caring people. I know our daughter loves Beginnings because she isn't upset when she's dropped off and is upset when she's picked up. She's always exploring new things; weekly newsletters via e-mail (with photos) are great and keep us informed and the daily progress reports are very helpful when keeping track of naps and feedings. I recommend ALC-Beginnings to anyone looking for infant care.

I highly recommend Active Learning Centers: Beginnings. In finding a trusted place for our children to grow and learn we are very happy here. The space is sufficient and allows the children to grow, learn, & explore. The staff at ALC: Beginnings is beyond exceptional! I think you would be hard pressed to find a friendlier, more caring group of genuine people to trust your children with daily. The staff is highly trained and also very experienced.
ALC: Beginnings is much more than a daycare for us, they have provided us with piece of mind and confidence. Our children are able to learn in a clean

Our daughter has been with Beginnings since she was 3 months old (now 2) and we have loved our experience. The staff is incredibly caring, not just for our daughter, but they show a genuine interest in our family. I always feel like I can talk to the staff about anything concerning her care. I have always appreciated the daily reports and weekly email updates with pictures of the fun activities that they have done. I love that there are educational goals in addition to play time. I also like that they offer additional opportunities, like sign language classes, age-appropriate fitness classes, and
