Genesee Glass & Mirror was founded by William Jones in July of 1975, after working at another area glass shop. Beginning as a D.B.A. in 1975 Genesee Glass & Mirror's first location was in a garage at William's home. Outgrowing that small garage next to his home he then rented a building at 78 Bennington Dr. (next door to its current location) at 90 Bennington Drive.
Soon after Genesee Glass & Mirror continued to grow becoming incorporated in March of 1978, with only a few co-workers and himself. Today you will still find most of those employees are still with the company, some as co-owners. Since its conception, our two main concerns at Genesee Glass have been customer satisfaction and our reputation.

I recently dropped off 2 window panes to have new glass put in them. The gentlemen in the office was quick to help giving me several options, I left the windows at 11:30am and he called me back at 3pm letting me know they were already done! Super fast service at a very fair price. I'll be using them again in the future.

Two employees at the front desk unmasked! When I asked Mike to pull up his gaitor that it would make me more comfortable, he replied "oh, I can't mask." Apparently Mike hasn't lost a loved one to Covid nor does he have any knowledge of over 400,000 lives being taken by this virus. The other employee at the desk was dropping F bombs in front of me. This was so disrespectful. Neither of these were the owner. At least, I hope not! The glass I purchased was fine but the experience was very disconcerting.

A young man came to our home the week before July 4th. Came in did the measurements for new glass for our windows. He told me if I did not receive a quote in 48 hrs to call. Since the 48 hrs brought us to the holiday weekend decided to call the following week. Husband called and was told they were short staffed and that we were in the "box" of to dos and would call. Waited a week or so, called... same thing people sick, people on vaca, short staffed....yep..here you are...we will get to you with quote. Here we are and it is August 10th and no quote. This is one great company! I was taken care of by Brett like I was family. I came in looking for a price on a small piece of specialty glass with a certain edge bevel & a large hole to be drilled in the middle to become a replacement for a missing glass stage on an antique microscope. Brett said he would charge for 1 hour of labor and the glass itself would be essentially free. I said fine but wanted to look around. I went to another place, well known with an excellent reputation around town, and showed the boss there the same picture and measurements that I had shown to Brett. He said they would
