PECU is a not-for-profit organization which means all earnings, after reserve allocations and expenses, are returned to the members in the form of attractive dividend rates, low interest rates on loans, minimal service fees, and the development of additional products and services. When you become a member of PECU, you are a part owner.

The Credit Union is member owned and managed by a member elected volunteer Board of Directors. We are a financial cooperative that places membership benefits ahead of profits. Our services are available only to members and PECU subscribes to the credit union philosophy of "people helping people".

PECU serves members and clients from our various fields of membership. With the continual changes in the financial services industry; more and more people are searching for a financially strong, reliable, and locally owned institution with which to do business. Certificate Accounts are available in terms ranging from one to three years with a minimum deposit of only $1,000.00. Dividends are paid quarterly. Share Draft (Checking) Accounts are offered without any minimum balance requirements or monthly service fees. Direct deposit services are available along with overdraft transfers from savings.
