Services
Mabank Family Pharmacy has been serving the Cedar Creek Lake area since 1974. This pharmacy was originally owned by Kenneth Chapman and is still Mabank's only local independent pharmacy. Now owned by DeWayne and Julie Chapman, we continue to provide fast and friendly service to the people of our community.
If you're taking multiple medications every day, it can be a struggle at times. Forgetting doses, wondering if you already took one, etc. This can be a problem for some patients but we have a solution. EZ Pack is our brand new compliance packaging system that makes it easier to keep track of your daily medications.
Along with regular prescriptions and immunizations, Mabank Family Pharmacy also compounds prescription medications! Compounded medications are essentially made from scratch by mixing individual ingredients in a strength and dosage form specified by your physician. Until the mid 20th century all prescriptions were compounded by pharmacists.

I love Mabank Family Pharmacy because they are personable, professional, and efficient. I changed pharmacies deliberately to theirs and drive extra to get my meds because of these attributes and much more. This is the very first time I have used this Pharmacy, I have to say Ms April was very patient and kind every time I called trying to get my prescription filled and I kept running into roadblocks doing so. But she definitely got it done with ease for me. Thanks Ms April and the rest of the staff for being patient, kind and understanding with all my needs!!

There is something to be said for locally owned and run businesses. Everyone at Mabank Family Pharmacy is top notch! They are always friendly, and they never get frustrated with all of the questions we sometimes have. The drive-through is a God-send for those times we still have to pick up medication, but we just don't feel well enough to come inside! My mother takes several different medications, and DeWayne and staff always explain the potential for any side effects, etc. They are also competitively priced with the large chain pharmacies and the insurance company's mail order medications. This is by far one of the best pharmacies in the Cedar Creek Area. Trust ME on this.
I have never had any issues with their service. The pharmacist has always taken the time out to talk to me, and he’s always made sure to answer any of my questions about my mom’s medicine. I live in Dallas so I can’t always get down there to see my mom, she had gotten really sick and had no way to get to the pharmacy to get her medicine, one of the employees personally drove out to her to deliver her meds. Hands down best pharmacy experience I (as well as my family) have ever had— and on a continual basis. The “personal touch” of a family-owned business where one is treated as a human instead of a number is almost priceless in today’s world!

I'm new to this area and my doctor suggested this pharmacy and wow they are great! I moved here from Dallas where it takes an hour just to pick up 1 prescription. These folks filled all of my prescriptions by the time I left my doctor's office! There were two pharmacists inside and I talked to Dewayne. He told me all about my medications and any potential side effects. Never got that kind of care in the metroplex. I'm so happy I found this pharmacy

The sole pharmacist, Dewayne Chapman, frankly seems overwhelmed regardless when you call or need your script. Chaos is the word that best describes their pharmacy. You call in a script... you're told it will be ready for pickup first thing in the morning... and then it's not. "we couldn't get it done because we only have one pharmacist today"... What?!! You told me that it would be ready over the phone AND ONE PHARMACIST IS ALL YOU EVER HAVE!! This has happened 3 times in 30 days.
