AMK Heating & Cooling was founded by Marty White, who developed an interest in the HVAC trade while he was in high school. After graduating and spending two years in vocational school, he married and then joined the Air Force. While in the Air Force, he furthered his knowledge by maintaining HVAC systems on ICBM sites.
After leaving the Air Force, he attended a local college program that focused on HVAC. After graduating, he joined the workforce to get a feel for many different aspects of the HVAC field. While attending SIUE for a mechanical engineering degree, Marty decided to start his own business. He quickly learned that he had a passion for this field when he began rescheduling his classes around a business that was taking off.

Our AC broke on a HOT Saturday afternoon. I called around, and found the friendliest company who was willing to come look at it without wanting my kidney for payment. They fixed my ac that very same day, and by the end of the evening no one would know we didn't have cooling that day. HIGHLY RECCOMMEND.
