Services
This branch of the Fogelsong family tree has been selling or making balers for nearly 100 years! Starting in 1919, Wilfred Fogelsong worked for Economy Baler in Detroit and later in New York City. His eldest son was killed in WWII, but his other two sons would follow in his baler-selling footprints.
Since 1973, Balers Inc. has been servicing recycling equipment, whether we sold it or not. Is your current service company not living up to your expectations? Contact us. Our master-certified technicians, with superior troubleshooting skills and trucks stocked with parts, are available 24/7, 365 days a year with an average response time of four hours.
Horizontal balers for recycling also come in a variety of sizes and speeds and allow for faster, more efficient processing and can be tied manually or automatically. Volume - the amount of material you generate - is not the only reason a horizontal recycling baler offers labor savings. There are times when purchasing a horizontal baler is a no-brainer.
We carry a full line of vertical balers from small to big for applications (easy to hard). If you have cardboard, plastic/shrink wrap, textiles/clothing, high grades, E-waste, non-ferrous metals, or aluminum/bi-metal cans, we have the right vertical recycling baler for you. Making a "mill size" bale is essential so you can maximize revenue when marketing your bales.
Air conveying scrap material from the point of generation to a baler can be the most efficient way to do it. We engineer, fabricate, and install air systems for printers, binderies, box and packaging plants, envelope houses, tissue paper mills, and pretty much any other type of facility where trim, die cuts, or punch outs are generated.

I asked how much it would cost to repair my baler and they told me it should be no more than $6,000. I thought it was a fair price so I told them to go ahead and do it. Once they finally repaired it I received a bill for more than $11,000! This is absolutely ridiculous! I was told it would be no more than $6,000. If they would have told me it would cost more than $11,000 in the first place then I was better off purchasing a new one. I will take my business somewhere else when I need a repair in the future!!!
