This place is great. They have everything and, unlike other places, provide great service.

Had a complicated problem with my trailer, eddy solved it in no time. plus those guys are good guys at monahan's . i didn't even make a purchase. which makes me feel bad.

Bought a boat trailer from Mike and he was great. Super easy process. A few weeks later I found that my boat wasn’t sitting quite right on the trailer. I called and Ron the service manager told me to bring it by to take a look. He had the boat fitted to the trailer that day. What a great experience!

Very easy to deal with Mike was very gracious and holding my order until I could get it picked up I have nothing but good things to say

Just purchased a new Highfield Inflatable dinghy here. The boat dealer has serviced many of my boats over the years, and Ron the service manager is a great guy to work with as a boat owner. Nancy in the main office is great too.

This is a really nice local business. They have everything you might need for your boat. They do repairs here too. They also have a nice selection of fishing gear and equipment. They carry clothing and foul weather gear, along with life jackets too. That's all upstairs. This week, I needed Yamaha Ring Free for my motor. They had and it was cheaper than the best price on Amazon - $22.50 vs. $25.49. Shop local.

Do not buy a tidewater boat. If you are going to buy one definitely don’t buy it here. The service manager is terrible. Needed a part for warranty work didn’t hear anything for two weeks. I finally call and he eventually tells me “Oh it is in the mail next day.” Obviously either he forgot or the distributer did. I can’t imagine what would have happened if I didn’t call, my boat would just never work. Also I sent an email to the service manager with Other issues, still no response. My boat is 2 years old and has had a bunch of issues.

The BEST-simply the best.
Ron and his team in the service department are first class. They care about your boat and do everything they can to get you back on the water. I feel lucky to call this my home shop.
Secondly I’m a kid in a candy store with their unmatched selection of fishing and boating. I proudly shop a family biz over those big box stores=no brainer.

Had a wonderful experience here! I bought a trailer at a great price and they set everything up for me and the transaction was a breeze. Everyone was very helpful and so nice! Great customer service!

Great local boat shop. Good parts counter and can quickly get anything not in stock.

Peter knows every widget imaginable in the industry. I needed a cross member for my boat trailer. He went out back and found a used portion of one, that was exactly what I needed. It really wasnt a sale item, so he charged me just 50bucks. Pefect. Thats customer service.

Nancy knows her parts counter stuff too! And always friendly to talk to.

Sometimes I just pop in to chat, and browse around the store. Upstairs has a nice line of gear, clothes, shoes and a Kayak center.

Excellent family owned business. great place for boating and fishing supplies. Bought a Highfield dingy, trailer, and yamaha engine from them. happy with the sales and service....This place is the real deal. Perfect example of "Shop Local"

Not even worth the one star. Most disappointing and frustrating experience - you would think you'll get better, honest customer service when you're spending so much money on such a huge purchase. We anticipated on receiving the boat for over 4 month since attending the New England Boat Show back in February. My dad was so excited for the fishing season. We showed up to pick up our boat and shocked it was missing the essential necessities we specifically requested and agreed upon at the show. The owner, Wally, was insultingly dishonest and didn't own up to the fact he messed

Here's another example of why you shop at a independent marine store. The helpful staff can get you anything you need. The prices are almost always less than the chain store. Bottom line is you won't be disappointed shopping at Monahans!

We stopped by here to get some supplies, bulbs, tie downs, etc for my friends boat and the staff there was apamzingly helpful. They knew their product lines and parts for everything that we needed. Cool thing about this place is they not only carry boating supplies, motors, etc. but also kayaks and very durable foul weather clothing. I am impressed with this place beyond words and will be going back there the next time we hit the ocean up there for something, I know it!
