In 1971, my wife and I realized that we had a need for a quality utility trailer. As we began our search for a durable and quality product, we were not able to find anything that was held to a high enough standard. In addition, many of the trailers we found did not satisfy the requirements we needed.
I will be using my new trailer for the first time this coming weekend. I will be racing my 1935 BMW 315/1 roadster in the Sonoma Historic Motorsports Festival at Sears Point Raceway. The folks at Montrose trailers customed this for my cars and the build quality and final product is well above my expectations.
At Montrose we believe every trailer should begin with a strong chassis for foundational support, along with an individualized approach to building each trailer. Unlike other manufactures that may build their trailers with a cookie-cutter model, we understand that having a weak chassis can compromise the structural integrity of the trailer.

Found a used Montrose trailer for sale near me, so I called the factory to see if they would answer a couple questions. Gary was incredibly helpful and took the time to give me very valuable information and advice -- even though I probably won't buy a new trailer from them. It's remarkable that they would provide this level of support to someone who didn't even buy a trailer directly from them -- sign of a really good company!
