Work Injuries: Many Americans are injured daily while working. Typical work injuries include spine disorders, mostly in the heavy-machinery industries or cumulative trauma from repetitive injury, which may cause carpal tunnel syndrome and tendonitis. Sports injuries: This refer to the kinds of injury that occur during sports or exercise.
Pain is a wide spectrum of disorders including acute pain, chronic pain, cancer pain and sometimes a combination of all of these. Pain can also arise from many different reasons such as surgery, injuries, nerve damage, arthritis, fibromyalgia or metabolic problems such as diabetes. Occasionally, pain can occur without any obvious cause at all.
Our staff at NorthPark Medical Group perform comprehensive health screenings. To learn more about our laboratory testing call our office and talk to one of our laboratory-trained healthcare professionals. Complete Blood Count (CBC) gives important information about the numbers and kinds of cells in the blood, especially red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets.
Your sense of or equilibrium, relies on a series of signals that pass from the vestibular organs in the inner ear. These signals pass through a branch of the vestibular nerve to the brain. The inner ear contains a complex system of fluid-filled chambers and passageways, known as the labyrinth.

Changes in body position disturb fluid in the labyrinth and stimulate tiny vestibular hair cells, which then send messages via the vestibular nerve to the cerebellum and brainstem, the balance centers of the brain. This series of signals allows your muscles and eyes to respond almost instantly to changes in position.

Don't go here. They're all about the money. Went in for my FREE Yearly Check-Up which I'm entitled to under my insurance. I then get probed with probably 30 questions which I thought might've been normal but odd. They were fishing for something wrong with me. When they finally got to an issue (they'd find an issue with ANYONE with their line of questioning) I elaborated on it because it makes no sense for me to lie about my health to the Doctor.
3 weeks later I receive a $200 bill for my "Free yearly check up" and was told by their staff that it was MY duty to tell the Doctor I was only there

NorthPark Medical Group is simply amazing! Their staff is professional and courteous everytime. I never have to wait long. Dr. Martino diagnosed my shoulder sprain and prescribed Physical Therapy. The therapists there are very knowledgeable, got my PT going during the same initial visit, and my shoulder started feeling better after only three sessions! I completed my therapy at their convenient location, and my shoulder is back to normal. They even gave me a list of exercises to do at home if my shoulder should flare up. This was a very positive experience, I would strongly recommend the professionals
