Services
Whether your shower is stand-alone or is combined with a bathtub, the best way to control the shower spray is with a glass bath enclosure. A quality enclosure keeps all water inside the tub or shower, looks good, and allows easy access in and out of the shower. No more of those clingy shower curtains attacking you inside the shower.
Depending on your door, Alamo Glass, in Austin, Texas, will determine if we can replace the glass on your door. This is a leaded glass door. Alamo Glass does not work on leaded or stained glass doors, we can replace these lites with tempered pattern glass on the job or in the shop. This is a commercial door.
Designing with mirrors is making a comeback. Mirrors were once viewed as an accessory. But more and more, our clients are using mirrors in bold ways to dramatically introduce space and light into rooms. Create a mirrored wall behind your sofa. Mirrors can double the apparent size of your room while exponentially increasing the amount of usable light.
Due to a large volume of orders, we do not provide wrapping materials for large pieces of glass. If you are picking up vanity mirrors or table tops, please bring moving blankets or other types of materials to wrap and/or cushion your glass. We simply do not have the space to store these materials. We sell DIY tub and shower enclosures.

I ordered 4 glass panels 3/8th think in various dimensions. The largest panel was tempered and 3 were regular type. They did a fantastic job having my panels cut and ready. Two out of 4 panels were slightly over sized by millimeters and it was MY fault. I contacted them back to see if they could file it down to make it fit in the inlay. They said yes! So I'm grateful for this.

Mostly nice people, but . . . the store is focused on professional sub-contracting glasiers than the general public. I bought $120.00 of glass window panes. I asked to buy some window glazing putty to mount the glass in my window frames. They wouldn't sell it to me. They said they only sell that to their subcontractor clients. Window putty is cheap and ubiquitous. I've even seen it for sale in a grocery store hardware section. Had to make an additional trip to a big-box hardware store for a few ounces of window putty. It shouldn't be this hard to buy local.

I used them for service September 13 and they did phenomenal short notice work. Fast forward to 10/20 and I got a charge for over $470. I called spoke to Dallas and he looked at it, noticed that was weird, gave me the customers name that this charge was for and then said he would figure it out and email me a refund receipt. After a few hours I called back and spoke to Kristen F. (She is the manager) and she said that she took the card from that customer and said she entered it in manually. So they could not process a refund. I told her my conversation with Dallas and she said I understand but the

Just had a patio window replaced that was broken by lawn mowing crew. Alamo was able to get to this job in a timely manner. Fransisco and Cesar showed up on time and were courteous, a positive reflection on their company! They were super fast and efficient, in no time they had the window replaced! I would definitely use this company again!

I will never use Alamo for personal use or for business use. I have waited over a month for a quote from them and after a little back and forth I have gotten no response. I tried to email with a follow up and was getting my emails sent back to me even though it is the same email that was used to communicate with the man giving me a quote. I then call to see if I can get some sort of answers and I am greeted with a rude women who was not willing to help me at all, she did not even take the time to listen to me fully or apologize for the time taken to get the quote, she then ended the conversation

One of my sons broke a downstairs window on a Wednesday afternoon and I was taking the family out of town on Saturday. I needed the window fixed promptly so my house would be secure, and Alamo came through. Both people I spoke with on the phone were friendly and said they'd work me in to their schedule given my situation. (Unlike the big company, Binswanger, who told me it would be 10 days before they could come out.)
I called Thursday morning and by Friday late morning two workers came to my house and fixed the window in under an hour. Alamo also came recommended by a neighbor and a window

This place is pretty horrible. I had a 20 ft glass counter top to be installed today and they apparently had a situation where they could not deliver. It took me to call and find an ETA. At which time they told me they would not deliver today. and the next avail day was wednesday. ....I run a business and there was no sense of urgency and really no apology. when I ask to speak to someone above him he said he made the decisions. well as far as customer service goes....not very good. Customer service is a dying art and this company does not own up to that. I understand that customers are not always

This store has been around every since I can remember. It is not a fancy showroom, but it gets the job done.
I ordered a piece of glass for an outside table. They recommended getting tempered glass. The order process was easy. For a 24"x42"x1/4" piece, it cost ~$80. Not sure if that is cheap or expensive, but it is conveniently located.
Please note that if your glass breaks on the way home, there is no refund, because they don't know the circumstances. They will replace it for you. They do not wrap any of the smaller glass pieces of this size. So when it does break, it is
