I've been to Bill French Jewelers twice and I experienced excellent service both times. I did not buy any jewelry although their selection is varied and pleasant to look at. Instead, I went for watch-related services. The first time, I had a watch that was losing time (very noticeably, not just the 140 sec that some lower-end movements tend to result in) even though I had just had the battery replaced with a high quality. The gentleman in the first encounter even tested the battery and informed me that the battery I had had plenty of juice left. I opted to have it replaced anyway, because that

I took my wedding set in after I damaged it. I had previously had my rings bonded together by another company and the work was done horribly. Well the Bill French crew were phenomenal! My rings look better then they did the day we purchased them (from another place). They re-bonded them and it’s seamless, it has more sparkle then ever before! Today my husband and I went in to get new rings. We were greeted right away and our sales lady was so nice. We always enjoy going in there and being able to look around and see what we need. I would not send my jewelry here for any repairs. My husband took my ring here to get a diamond replaced that fell out of my halo. First the communication was poor but it turns out the repair work was as well. I can look down at it and easily point out which one was replaced even though they said they re-pronged the whole thing so I am not sure why it would still look like its set differently. Pretty disappointing experience and I would not recommend.

I needed a watch fitted and walked up to the store, only to realize it was 1800 and just closed. So I turned around to leave and Bill himself opened up the door, let me in and helped me fit the watch. He is also very knowledgeable about his merchandise and is an honest guy who strongly supports our military. I definitely will choose his store over other big name stores!

I have been to this establishment 4 times. The service is great, Bill really knows his stuff and doesn't mind teaching you a little about how your stuff is valued. The prices for repairs,resizes always fair, if not undervalued. You don't feel like your talking to some sleazy moneybag, that's just trying to get over. The employees I have dealt with great as well. In my experience they do the little extra things that almost make it impossible for me to want to do business anywhere else. Fast, reliable, fair. Great selection.

About 14 years ago, the prong on my wedding ring broke (my husband bought my ring 29 years ago in Lubbock from a nationally known jeweler) and the diamond fell. I purchased my wife's wedding set at a big name jewelry store and 5 years later she loses her center stone due to faulty workmanship.
