If you have been charged with a criminal offense, in most cases the court will require that you post bail before the judge will release you from jail, while you are awaiting trial.Simply put, a bail bond is a contract between a state licensed bail agent and the signer or cosigners. The purpose of bail is to provide the court a level of assurance/guarantee you will appear in court on the trial date.

While the U. S. Constitution prohibits judges from imposing "excessive bail, " the bail amounts listed for different crimes are typically much more than most people have in their bank account. In California, the cost of bail bonds is negotiable. To help pay with specified costs, the law allows a person charged with a crime to contact a person 18 years or older.

A friend called me, panicked and in tears. She had been the victim of domestic abuse, but found herself arrested instead of her abuser! She was not the "criminal type," and I was petrified and bewildered on how to help. Bit Alin, the gentleman who met me at 11 pm and walked me through the process was kind, compassionate, and informative. He personally came at 2 am to post the bail as soon as my friend was ready for final processing. I hope I never, ever, ever have to use their service again, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend then to anyone.
