AMAZING...the BEST food in Brookfield. Seriously. Don't hesitate to try Agora, their pizza is the best I've ever had and every other dish has been superb from the Chicken Parm to the pasta. Sammy, the owner is usually the only server there and he really takes care of you. It is always quiet and not crowded, which is another reason we love it there. The building is an old converted house with several different rooms that you can be seated in and there are fireplaces too...it's just so cozy. We always bring our friends here from out of town and they love it too.

Agora Restaurant in Brookfield, CT has amazed me and my family for dinner tonight. We have been wanting to try this restaurant for awhile now and I don't know why we waited so long! The food was fresh and out of this world and the service was AMAZING. We can't wait to try more of their dishes. If you're on the fence about coming, don't be. Your taste buds will thank you!!!

Food price / quality rating 7.5. Atmosphere is well preserved Victorian home. We split a Crab Cake which I thought was middle of the road. I had the Chicken Francese. Three small chicken filets, a little overcooked and one was very tough and stringy. Presentation was kind of boring, no color like a dash of parsley or anything, and not that much pasta. The wife had the Mediterranean Cod. Very nice presentation, very colorful and nice portion. I'm told that it was good. Our table must not have been re-cleaned in a while though. I had to take out a wipe and clean it myself.
We started off with fried calamari and bread with olive oil which was good.
My fiancé ordered chicken scarpariello. Both of us hate lemon on our chicken. It tasted like instead of white wine sauce. That maybe chicken francaise was used and put with the peppers and sausage.
I wish he would have sent it back instead of asking for a side of sauce to pour on top of it.

Seriously ..have the the Grouper here, you will have none better anywhere around. It's my favorite fish dish if I am going to go out for fish specifically. I love how they have redone the place and expanded the deck out front, its a nice set up for summertime. The owner really knows how to make a good Margarita too!!

A wonderful place to eat. The only pizza in surrounding area that does not shoot my sugars up because I am a diabetic. Everything they use is fresh. The meatball app is just the best, love the shrimp soup and the chicken is amazing. The best dessert is the upside down apple pie. The owner Sammy is very welcoming and so friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant. One of my favorites.

My wife and I tried this place on a spur of the moment while the kids were at an activity for a few hours. It is such a nice, comfortable and cozy place with two different bars, several small dining areas, and a patio. We chose to sit at a table in the back bar. The service was very friendly; from our server to the bartenders to the owner himself, everyone was very nice.
Our meatball appetizer was terrific! I loved my Steak Au Poivre with potatoes and veggies; the sauce was awesome. My wife cleaned her plate of Pappardelle Bolognese. We will definitely be back!

This charming restaurant near the 4 Corners in Brookfield was a complete surprise. Although Yelp gave it 4 1/2 stars I did not expect to be so happy with the menu , the service and the ambiance . We had a Mediterranean fish in a delicate wine sauce beautifully plated. The chef came to our table to check on everything . We are from NYC and did not expect to find a New York style restaurant in Brookfield. The exterior of the old house belies the charming rooms inside. We will be back.

Beautiful place. My family enjoyed the food and they are not easy to please when it comes to Italian food. At first I thought the portions were a little small but in reality they are actually appropriate. Some meals are slightly over priced in my opinion.

This is my favorite Italian restaurant. The owner is so friendly and accommodating. My son and I used to go there around 11pm after go karting he would always welcome us with a happy smile. Good is great. He'll also make you anything you want. Atmosphere is so comfortable you almost feel like your at your own home.
I wish they had a place like this in White Plains which is really my area.

My favorite Resturant by far in the Brookfield/ Danbury/ New Milford area. I bring my visiting guests here because I know the food selection is great! The specials are always delicious. The atmosphere is perfect!
You can actually have a conversation over dinner without shouting which is a big plus. Most of the other trendy area restaurants are way too noisy and the tables too crowded to relax.
