Jukido Jujitsu is an art that fuses many principles, techniques, and training methods found in Judo, Karate, combatives, and authentic forms of traditional & modern jujitsu into a dynamic & powerful system of practical self-defense. Weapons training and defense is also gradually integrated into the formula of Jukido Jujitsu.
The benefits of authentic martial arts for youth be they children or teenagers is immeasurable! The Jukido Academy has been teaching children through our kid's jujitsu program in the Palm Coast, Flagler County, and the surrounding area since 1999 - making the Jukido Academy the most experienced school in teaching self-defense to children in the area!
The Jukido Academy of Jujitsu & Karate provides instruction in two traditional and time tested martial arts - Jukido Jujitsu and Kokondo Karate. At the Jukido Academy all students begin with a study of Jukido Jujitsu and as they progress the option to complement their Jukido Jujitsu training with a powerful, dynamic, and complimentary art of Kokondo Karate is possible.
One of the best ways to embark or enhance your training and take full advantage of the opportunities the Jukido Academy is by taking private classes. We offer three main avenues for private instruction. Private Student Curriculum (member): Students who study in the "private" program are essentially embarking on a long-term study of the art of Jukido Jujitsu.

Checked out various martial arts programs before enrolling our child. Love how Master Rego interacts professionally & directly with his students & coaches each one. His group conversation makes the discipline relatable to real life and meaningful outside the classroom.
From a parent perspective, he returns phone calls timely & genuinely cares for each of his students. Testimony to his character & expertise is the plethora of students (and their siblings) who have been under his tutelage for years. We look forward to being one of them!

My son recently began attending Jukido Academy and it’s been the best decision we’ve made together! From the moment I first reached out to Master Rego inquiring about the program, he’s been thoughtful in his approach and responses to my questions, and I immediately felt at ease. He welcomed my son to the dojo with open arms and treated him with care and kindness; as if he were family.

Positive: Communication, Professionalism, Quality
My kids have been attending for two months now. My older didn't want to go, but we made him try it for a month. Now he loves going there. Sensei Rego and his staff work with the children, making sure they are doing things correctly. They also get a great workout.

How can we make this short and sweet - I can't!! Master Rego is not only an awesome Sensai, he has a wonderful personality to boot. He truly tries to bring out the best in each and every one of his students. Knowing their capabilities but still pushes them to go above and beyond. We, as parents have seen a difference in our girls and are very happy that they are in his hands. There are many other Dojos out there, but Jukido Academy far surpasses them all. Thank you for the experience.

I'm very happy to have found the Jukido Academy, Sensei Rego, and the dojo family during my stay in Florida. I learned so much in my time there, that I am sad I could not stay in Florida for longer; I would certainly have continued my training here otherwise. There's an amazing culture at this school, where the environment and students are warm and welcoming, but also serious and respectful. I am a complete beginner, and I never felt judged or looked down upon, and everyone was quick to help me (and everyone else) learn and improve. My son comes home everyday after school asking if we are going to Jukido, it’s something he looks up to during the week. After each session he tells me everything that he’s learning, the people he meets, and how much fun he has in the dojo. He was very shy at first but Sensei Rego and the staff made him feel at home. Happy with the choice we made.

Master Rego has been a complete blessing to our family for the last 4 years. Our son started at Jukido Academy at 6 years old and now our daughter is there too! George Rego doesn’t just run a business, he truly cares about the kids and sees that they meet all the qualifications individually before advancing them to the next belt. My kids love going and come home proud to show us the new techniques they learn. Not only does he teach discipline but self-respect and kindness too! He is the best of the best!!

Our daughter goes to Jukido academy for a year now and she grew up and we have seen that she has more spirit than ever and she has more self control. This academy the perfect place to learn and grow up physically and spiritually. Sensei George Rego puts a lot of effort to into his students spirit, education, discipline and self-defence skills.

We love attending Jukido with Sensei Rego! This dojo is amazing! Our son loves attending (he is on the smaller, shy side) but is always wanting to go and learn! Sensei Rego is always upfront and leads with integrity. He communicates well and quickly. He always makes the kids feel at home as well as the parents. He’s accommodating and empowers the kids in all the right ways. His dojo is affordable to the point where you know it’s more for the kids than his wallet. He is extremely giving and honorable. We wouldn’t study any where else!

Easily one of the best decisions of my life to join the Florida Jukido Academy. Not only am I developing the skill of self defense, but being a member of this dojo has improved my self confidence, motivation, discipline, and skills as a leader. Master George Rego has a wonderful way of motiviating his students to do better and be better. He is an excellent teacher and I would recommend his dojo to anyone looking learn realistic self defense.
