The Anza-Borrego Desert is a land of many faces, where the twists and turns of each canyon reveal a unique charm and beauty. From the colorful Borrego badlands east of Borrego Springs to the forested slopes of the Laguna mountains, and the desert wildflower blooms that follow the rains of winter, diverse plants and animals have adapted to many different life zones.
The desert is a harsh land, but life is everywhere. Anza-Borrego Desert State Park is home to the largest desert state park in the United States, offering outstanding desert hiking and camping, biking, desert flowers and plants, birding, reptiles and amphibians, and fascinating geology and photography, along with the warm sunshine of Borrego Springs on a winter's day.

First impressions.
- wash your hands upon entering (big supporter but wished they had a bigger sign and I would happily obliged on my own)
- how may I help you? Requested a patch for my spouse. But this is where it gets weird, she picked up the patch and walked the patch to the counter herself. The lady didn’t even bother asking if I was done shopping. I had to interrupt her and ask for magnets.
- Upon paying, she said no credit card use and had to pay cash due to $5 minimum. At that moment, I only envisioned this lady hand carrying all my items if I chose to purchase something else. To my

What a charming gift shop after the Christmas Circle. Did not check the reviews prior to coming here. Across the tacos restaurant, saw this yellow painted shop and decided to check it out. Masks and sanitizing ur hand are pre-requisite prior to shopping. Kathy was so helpful and I cannot believe how affordable the prices are! So many unique gifts to bring home. The paper bag as well was beautifully decorated. Highly recommended to check out and buy souvenirs when in borrego springs
