Dr. Kenneth Shumate, was born and raised in Washington D.C. He graduated from T.C. Williams High School in Alexandria, VA. Dr. Shumate was a mathematics teacher, track and football coach for Westlake High School and General Smallwood Middle School. He attended High Point University in High Point, NC graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics.

We're here to help you understand your financial options and coordinate with your schedule so that your dental treatment can begin without delay.
All accounts are due and payable at time of service. If a procedure requires multiple appointments, payment is required in full at the first appointment. Patients with insurance: The patient is responsible for the Estimated - Not Covered Balance, and/or deductibles at the time of the service. If the insurance company does not pay after 60 days, we will bill you directly for the full balance.

Every time I have gone I have been showed nothing but Love and they take care of you. Dr Ken is straight forward professional and will get the job done. Had an emergency root canal. When I say that the care I was provided here was phenomenal. I was treated as if the tooth I lost was actually the DR’s tooth lol. I’m glad I found this establishment and was able to get great service done. I will be going to this dentist for many years to come. You should too!

I highly recommend Waldorf Dental Care. Dr. Shumate is the most professional, caring dentist I have had the pleasure of interacting with. He speaks to you in a manner that is easy to understand. He is upfront about treatment plans and fees. Tanesha his assistant is very helpful and accomodating. She does a great job of preparing you for your treatment. Waldorf Dental Care is a dental Office for all ages.
