In September of 1990, Bob Stamey and Tom Eason opened the doors to their first drugstore in Maiden, NC. Their goal was to offer the best and most affordable customer service around. With three stores in three counties (Catawba, Gaston, and Lincoln), TAS Drug's three generations are still committed to our 30+ year legacy of serving as your partner in health.

After driving 45 minutes from Morganton to help my grandmother, we stopped by TAS to purchase a shower chair. Our 11 year old daughter needed to use the restroom very badly and we were sure she would be able to be relieved at a drug store...but, they wouldn’t allow her to use it!! Needless to say we didn’t buy the shower chair there and will not patronize the store without the use of a public restroom or at least a merciful staff that would allow an 11 year old to use the restroom.
