Gave a $350 down-payment in early October. It's now January. Nobody has contacted us to schedule the work and now nobody will return our messages or emails including Tom Becker. We've been leaving messages with the answering service AND with Tom directly for months. We have been more than patient. About to file a complaint with the BBB and maybe file a police report for theft.

We have used Trees r Us a few times. They've helped us with a tree removal, storm clean-up, and with trimming back of some trees that were over our house. Each time, they have been friendly (as my kids watched from a distance), professional, and have left everything cleaned up. We have recommended them to friends.

I needed my trees trimmed. They had not been cared for in a long time. I called 3 different, local companies to provide me with bids for this job. Tom from Trees "R" Us, Inc. came out and the first thing he told me was that it was too late in the season to trim the big oak tree.
I contacted him just now, in early spring, and he remembered the job, but wanted to come out an take another look. He did so and told me that the oak is still dormant and that he could do it. He scheduled me for the following week.

Extremely pleased with the service provided today by three young men...They expertly trimmed a huge locust tree so it no longer hung over the neighbor’s property, giving it a long overdue trim, then removed a 100’ tall sickly fir that was less than a foot from the house as well as a self-seeding infected crabapple. They finished by carefully removing 8 bushes without damaging a single flower in my garden. Excellent cleanup. Didn’t waste a second. Since I didn’t request this service until late June, I had to wait my turn, about three weeks. But it was totally worth the wait. I will use only

Tom Becker is an ace. Very knowledgeable, helpful, and responsive. From the estimate to work completion, everything came out as was described. The work crew that came to do the work was a super nice bunch of guys, I only get Esteban's name, but they were all great. Very fast, and efficient. Clean up was so good you would not have known I had so much work done. Great guys, great company. Highly recommended. Call Tom if you need any tree work done.

Last Fall, I gathered 5 quotes to replace a Birch tree lost due to age. Trees R Us was surprisingly competitive and customer feedback from Angie's List were positive. So, we hired them. A different tree service had removed the tree months earlier and did not do a good job removing the roots. The team from Trees R Us had to dig twice as deep as they quoted, but did not charge us a penny more. This Spring, we noticed the tree was suffering, dropping leaves and turning brown. We called them for advice. Arborist Rick called immediately and stopped by to check on it. He called back immediately

Their estimate and sales pitch were outstanding. After coming out to our home for an estimate, Tom convinced us that we had a lot of work to be done, including removing a tree that was impinging on our foundation. Unfortunately, after grinding the stump, they did not remove the wood chips leaving a pile that smothered our bushes. I contacted Tom 3-4 times to remove the wood chip pile with no response. Our bushes are now dead and Trees R Us have not removed the wood chips. Tom has been faithful to price out a replacement tree to the tune of $3K...However, I cannot, in good conscience, hire them

I wanted to buy firewood from this company as well, communication between the employees is poor. We (Manager and I) had agreed upon a delivery of a face chord on Saturday 12/6/2014 between 8 and 9 a.m. for $192. I received a call Friday at noon (from another person) that they would be at our home in 30 minutes. I stated that we had agreed on Saturday between 8 and 9 a.m. They stated that it wasn't in their notes, but that they'd be there tomorrow within that hour. Nope they don't call you a lot they just come when scheduled (weather permitting) and do their work. They are fast, CLEAN UP IS FANTASTIC and very very good. We had a huge 75' Honey Locus that had to be dropped in a tight space (near our fence/house and neighbor's driveway/house) and these guys dropped her branch by branch not wrecking anything. My neighbors were so impressed they asked for cards.
The guy that came out a few days later to grind out the stump did a really good job, fast, friendly, professional and again just came out and did their job.

With two huge trees and two smaller trees taken down today, I simply watched the men work in the heat on the back lawn with my water bottle. Those guys worked so hard from 6 am-7 pm in the 100 degree heat today, made nice with the neighbors, cleaned up after themselves, and still managed to get all that done in one day. The next day they worked on the stumps and my backyard looks great! Thanks "Trees "R" Us"!
