Known for being home to a large catfish population, the lake is also home to largemouth bass, bluefish gill, white bass, and striped bass.

My husband and I l found this little park and we love it.
We have been here for a few weeks and do not want to leave. This is our new found get away.
The manager Ruby is so kind and helpful. All of the employees here are great. The view of the lake is amazing. Everyone we have spoken to has been so nice and friendly. We will be coming back again next year.

Don’t stay ever at the Northshore RV park in Onalaska, Tx. The manager is very rude and could care less about concerns and violations that occur in the RV park. We always followed the leash rules and picking up after our dogs. There were always unleashed dogs and didnt pickup after them. Yesterday we were walking our dogs to the dog area and unleashed dogs attacked our 2 small dogs. The office said its not their problem and they are not there to police their park. If you dont like here leave and no refunds. We have been here a month and a half. We cant believe it. If you have dogs dont stay here

When we made our reservation we were told that our camping spots would be together however, that was not the case. Some pull through spots in the middle have this huge electrical panel just as come out your front camper door. There are ants everywhere they need to spay. Wont be back to this park. Waisted money.

We absolutely adore Mrs. Ruby! We live in Onalaska & still camp here regularly, our kiddos love the pool, splash pad, playground and beach area! The resort is very family oriented. We have met some amazing people by camping here! Very clean & customer service is spot on. The wristband policy, keeps non-paying individuals out of the park which is a plus for us! If you have not been to Northshore you are absolutely missing out!

Last week was our first time taking our boat to Lake Livingston. Ruby helped us all through our reservation process to sharing her knowledge of the area. Our Cabin (cabin #1)was exactly what we expected. Small but close to the water. Practically a full kitchen tucked in there. Very clean..no bugs. Plenty of lighting. Picnic area with charcoal grill and fireplace for bonfire. Our only disappointment was in our own choice to not launch the boat from their boat launch. We are inexperienced boaters and the boat launch appeared very steep..but we drove to the State Park and launched from there. Fishing

First I’ll start off by saying Ruby is phenomenal!! I have camped here several times and will continue to make this my #1 choice. Every-time I make a reservation Ruby goes above and beyond!! Their wristband requirement is the best!!! Keeps non-paying visitors to a minimal. I have also been to a few other camping sites who have required this as well. So I don’t feel as if this guideline is ridiculous!! We love the beach and the splash pad!! Keep up the good work North Shore!

Have stayed many times in the small cabin and loft cabin, all of our visits have been amazing! The whole staff is amazing, always super helpful and kept safe an expensive item we thought we lost. We have family that has been staying in a RV spot while getting a house built and the whole place is just great very clean and nice amenities. Going to miss hanging out once we move.
