She began her career beginning as a Sales Associate for Leighton's Jewelers, a family owned business with stores in Madera, Merced and Los Banos. While working for Leighton's Jewelers Los Banos, Sherry began studying with the Gemological Institute of America, a respected school in the jewelry industry earning Certificates in Jewelry Sales and Diamonds.
Pearson's Jewelers specializes in jewelry repair, from ring sizing to delicate jewelry restorations. Jewelry repairs are done by our trained professionals with the experience and training to handle any repair. We repair all jewelry, including gold, silver, platinum, and custom jewelry. The turnaround time would be one to two weeks depending upon the repair work required.
Jewelry requires gentle care to ensure its everlasting beauty. No matter how much you clean it yourself, a professional cleaning is required to maintain the sparkle of your jewelry. This will not only keep the beauty of your jewelry intact, but will also help in detecting any wear or damage at its earliest.

THE OLDER WOMAN WHO IS PRESUMABLY THE OWNER IS RUDE, CONDESCENDING AND SHADY, WHO TOTALLY LACKS PEOPLE SKILLS. I FEEL TOTALLY RIPPED OFF BY THEIR SUBPAR REPAIR / MODIFICATION TO MY VERY EXPENSIVE RING, AND HER ATTEMPTS TO UPSELL ME FOR $250 MORE TO FIX THEIR INADEQUATE WORK, WHILE TELLING ME "THERE IS NO WARRANTY FOR THEIR WORK" WHICH SHE CONVENIENTLY CLAIMED "AFTER THE FACT & AFTER BEING PAID"! WELL MS. PEARSON, THIS IS NOT MY FIRST RODEO... IF THE REPAIR / MODIFICATION FAILS, AS I SUSPECT IT WILL, WE WILL RESOLVE IT IN FRONT OF A JUDGE... MEANWHILE, I WILL COMPLAIN WITH MY FEET & TAKE MY BUSINESS

First of all disregard the bad reviews on here, they are completely wrong, either they mistakenly chose the wrong business to review or they're the kind of people no one can please or get along with ( we all know of those type right?) Last summer I was in LB visiting
when my watch stopped working.
Normally I could do this myself but
I didn't have my tools on my person.
[23 second record batt. change!]
I called for an estimate and was
told that they didn't know how much
it would be since the price was
dependent on the number of screws
holding on the caseback + the battery number.
Big. Red. Flag. Nope. Nuh-uh.
I hung-up my dumbfono,
stuck my watch in my bag,
& relied on my circadian rhythm.
My watch ended up working itself out.

I would like to help local business, but I found that the service at Pearson's is not good. We wanted a ring engraved & there was a lack of communication on the owner's part, so it came out wrong. My husband did buy a nice necklace there for my birthday, but it was overpriced as was the ring we bought from them. To make matters worse, we suspected that the diamond in my wedding ring was chipped, and she basically told us to leave because we did not buy the ring there. Our other jeweler (2 hours away) cleaned the ring & found that it was just a bit of glue on the stone. We will

How are these guys still in buisness seriously? Everytime you go in the the owner is looking down on you with her nose up in the air they speak to you like you are lower then them they don't really carry any product you want they will not order and they send you out of town for any product you want anyway so my question is how are you still in buisness it is really weird they act like they are better then you but carry products lower then them then give you that look when you try to make a purchase like you can't afford better? Let this buisness go by the wayside and move on

I'll drive out of town for watch repairs. The owner is very rude. She doesn't know how to talk to customers, I'm not sure how they are still open.
I called in to ask if a watch could be fixed & was told yes. (NOT an estimate..JUST asked if they fixed watches) Took my watch in and and was told no, she said they can't fix it and when I said that I called and was told they could fix it she said well we can, but not today. What I love about Pearson's Jewelers is that they are able to give the service and selection of a "big town" jewelry store but maintain the "small town" feel every timeI go in there. They make me feel like family and not just a customer.
They are so good at keeping records of what I have bought or received and things that I would love to have. They provide a great selection and wide price range so no matter what the occasion, there is something that is just right.
