Services
LanVi Do, DDS grew up in Southern California and graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 1999. She also has an Advanced Education Degree in general dentistry with an emphasis on cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry from the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA) where she taught as a clinical instructor.

I hated going to the dentist for most of my life. I had unpleasant experiences as a kid that made me dread going as an adult. I'm so glad a coworker recommended Dr. Do when I moved to LA. I've been a patient for four years now and actually enjoy my appointments (as much as you can enjoy getting your teeth cleaned). Dr. Do is kind and makes you feel like you have her full focus when she's speaking with you. The dental hygienists are so pleasant and the women at the front desk are just delightful. The office is clean and calm and I'm almost always able to grab a parking spot on

I should preface this by saying I am a card-carrying dentalphobic. If I had only met Dr. Do, and Julia, and Olivia and all the other fabulous people in this office, I could have avoided a lot of problems. Not only is the entire office a fun place to visit, everyone there practices the caring kind of medicine. They learn about your kids, and your broken heart, and your plans for vacation, and the net effect is to encourage you to take care of your choppers.

I found Dr. Lan Vi Do about 2 years ago and I would not change her for anybody. It was recomendation from my friend. She is absolutely best in every aspect. She pampered her patient all the time. She will address your problem, she will discuss your options, recommend what is best for you and will do the job painlessly with perfection. Plus everyone is very pleasant here. Olivia at the front desk, always happy and ready to do anything for you. You guys rock... it is really hard to find a good dentist, but I got mine. Thank you Dr. Lan Vi Do ;)

Dr. Do and her team are FANTASTIC! Dr. Do and Nina are by far the most caring, nicest people I've had the pleasure of meeting at a dental office.They really do make sure that you are comfortable with both pain management & finances(!) before they start on whatever procedure you need. Olivia is also fantastic and will explain and go over the finances with you if you have any questions.
After my initial visit, I've already made up my mind that Dr. Do's office will be my go to from now on!

Dr. Do is great! She's a gentle and professional dentist. She explains the procedures well. She also has a great personality and is fun to talk to. I highly recommend her.
The office is efficient and the staff is friendly and competent. All their forms are online and can be filled out before you see the dentist, which I love because it's more convenient that way.

Great customer service & awesome staff! Dr. Do runs a very professional business and I am happy to say that I now have a cleaner and brighter smile because of her and her amazing A+ staff! I drive all the way from Orange County to see her so this just shows that if u want the best u have to be willing to go the distance! :) thank u again Dr. Do for being such an amazing Dentist!!! :)

I was in need of a dentist when I moved to the States and luckily I found Cannon Cosmetic Dental. Dr Do and their staff really enjoy their work, and the results show. This is a very well run business, with no waiting time, clear, upfront cost breakdowns and a very modern practice. If you need a dentist in LA, this is the place to go.

I'm about done with a total smile makeover, and I have to say, I AM BLOWN AWAY!!!
This entire office is way above and beyond top-notch friendliness, and like I said earlier they will go out of their way to accommodate you and make sure you are 110% satisfied.
I no longer have a "gummy" smile, my teeth are even with no spaces between them, and best off all, they are white, BRIGHT WHITE, yet do not look fake.
I gave away all the particulars in my previous review on why you should go here for checkups, cleanings, and regular dental work, but if you've been putting off treating

Dr. Do is great and the team here is super helpful and very accommodating - I went here as a result of reading all the great reviews.
I had my cleaning done here and was told to get some x-rays as well. Wanting to make sure I wasn't going to have to pay and arm & a leg, I asked about my fee's. I was assured that 1 ex-ray would be covered as would my cleaning through my insurance - well, I got a bill for both of these. Granted, I should have perhaps checked with my insurance prior, but I truly believe that I was given false information...

It seems a little suspicous to have a dentist with ALL 5-star reviews, but I swear that I am not a shill, and Dr. Do really deserves this.
One reason she gets high marks from everyone is that she is so focused on patient comfort. If you are at all squeamish about the usual issues in dentistry, don't worry. Dr. Do will make you comfortable, and it literally "won't hurt a bit". Personally, this doesn't matter much to me, I'll endure whatever is needed in order to get the work done right, but it is a nice change of pace, and I surely appreciate it.

Umm....yeah...I'm on the Dr Do band wagon. I would rather go to any other medical dr and be poked and prodded than go to the dentist. I have had multiple bad experiences. Dr Do is like a dentist magician. She puts you at ease and lets you know exactly what she is doing every step of the way.

I love it. I am the type of person that needs my hand held the whole way during any type of dental work. Not only does she do that, but she is SUPER QUICK filling cavities. Plus she is just the cutest thing.

Dr. Do is the reason I now have a Yelp account. I found her through reading reviews on here and after meeting with her, I have to concur. First off, she gave me a FREE consultation on a complicated dental situation (I may need 2-3 root canals on some damaged teeth) and she made sure that I clearly understood everything she was telling me, even drawing me a diagram! She then recommended me to en endodontist who she said was "the most ethical guy" she knew, promising that he would put my best interests at heart.

Yes, I am giving a dentist 5 stars. After all the freakin' dental work Dr. LanVi Do has performed on me including the darn tooth I keep chipping, she deserves it. Honestly, her work is impeccable.
What else can I say? She performed my root canal with ease, didn't push any unnecessary procedures (I asked about teeth whitening - she said I didn't need it) -I don't even mind my cleanings. Much.
She also answered my emergency calls ASAP when I was in agony from the tooth that was eventually going to be the aforementioned root canal. Any dentist that does that is tops
