When Deborah retired in 2018, Keri Furry became the new owner. Keri worked for Deborah on and off since 1996. She strives to carry on The Cotton Club tradition, but with her own unique approach. This is one of my favorite clothing stores for comfortable, colorful and affordable clothing that lasts. Almost everything is washable, a big plus. I almost always find something I love. Cotton Club also has some beautiful and affordable jewelry, scarves and other accessories (hats, socks, masks, etc.) I have found the staff to be helpful and friendly.

I love this place, the clothes are always so beautifully displayed and the sales clerk is very nice(not pushy but is quite happy to help at any time), patient and attentive. If you make a purchase great; if you don't there is no pressure! Every chance I get I stop in. I am so thankful they are still in business during this difficult time.

Been waiting months now that i work downtown to visit the Cotton Club. Make it over today during lunch and am feeling very tender about my weight gain during the pandemic. Asked woman about sizing. She Told me to go large. I mentioned no larges in the items i liked. Oh well... don't try to sell me something else...She couldn't be bothered from whatever she was doing to come help me. (Just like macys, penneys and kohls) I saw so many cute blouses and dresses but she was too busy with nobody i could see. I figured in my head i would have spent ~$500 but, nope, couldn't get her attention

I have loved this shop and come here for decades. When my son (who is now 31) was little, he was welcome to sit at a play table while I shopped. Once, when he noticed a slightly damaged toy, the owner said he could take it home. He did, fixed it, and proudly returned it to her on our next visit so that other kids would enjoy the shop as much as he did. That is one reason I love this shop.

I have been cleaning the windows at shops, restaurants, and small businesses plus residential for 35 years In and around Midtown Sacramento, and I have been cleaning the windows at the Cotton Club ever since they opened at that location, and I can say that the owners and the people that have worked there are some of the nicest people that I have cleaned windows for, and in fact, all my customers in Midtown are very nice and friendly, which I know makes it a great place to shop if you value great customer service!

I have shopped at The Cotton Club for at least 25 years and always find the coolest outfits. usually I pick out a couple of things and then the friendly sales gals will bring me more things to try on. I always leave with a good feeling and a smile on my face. this time of year is my favorite at the CLUB my friends and I call it. summer sale starts Saturday. I can hardly wait. the same wonderful staff are still there with a new owner. who by the way is very friendly and helpful

I recently found this little gem, amazing!! I love that all the clothing is all natural fabric. Everything in the store is really cute, They have lots of accessories as well. Wonderful place to purchase things for yourself, also maybe a gift for others! The lady who owns the store and her daughter were really nice. Very enjoyable. I will definitely be back!!

This is a great place to shop for a guy looking to buy something for his wife or girlfriend. The clothing and women accessories selection are fabulous. And the staff is always very helpful and glad you're there.
IF all else fails, and you can't find just the right thing, there's always gift certificates you can buy. If you're a guy, shopping for that special someone, and don't want to spend lost time in big box stores like Macy's, this is the place to go. Found a beautiful leather travel purse for my wife at a good price & value.

Came here by chance last year when I was visiting from out of town and almost everything (except the cute dresses more geared toward younger women) were exactly my style and fabric feel. Literally I knew I was coming back again and saved up to do a full fall and winter shopping - perfect for my work and personal time. Maybe this will have to be a yearly plan. Especially appreciated that the prices are good, the scarves and jewelry stylish and reasonable, clothes was well and everything is SO comfy.

I just don't understand the negative reviews for this wonderful boutique. I would say 80% of my working wardrobe comes from here - my students ALWAYS compliment me on my clothing choices as they are unique and eclectic. As for the friendliness of the staff? My policy is you get what you give. So I'm always cheerful and greet them when I walk in and am usually repaid with like friendliness. This is not Walmart or Old Navy, but the sales are good and I think you get what you pay for. The clothing is timeless and well constructed.

PERFECT PLACE for a cotton or linen sundress! I just discovered Effie's Heart clothing here! The prices are great and the owner is always unpacking new arrivals. Absolutely the best selection of clothing for women of ALL sizes. Since I turned 58 and a proud foodie I have been in search of a more realistic place to shop. This darling midtown boutique always has something new to fit my body type. The service is warm and friendly and the customers have fun stories to share. The energy of a store can make such a difference in my shopping experience and this one has earned 5 stars from me.

I have been an avid shopper for years and love, love, love the Cotton Club. Debra the owner is very good at picking the right outfits for dress, casual, travel and sport. She has it all! Her jewelry, purses, scarves, etc. are all fun too and complete your outfit. It's a one stop shopping experience.

Classy little boutique shop that sells unique clothing items. My favorite part of this store is there selection of hats, gloves, scarfs, and socks. You feel like you're going back in time. The people who work there are so sweet. I love coming into this place.
I even needed to exchange a gift given to me at Christmas. I was able to find another beautiful cap and a gorgeous pair of earrings. I had the receipt with me and it hadn't been that long after the purchase. The lady who helped me was so sweet. I felt well cared for as a customer here. :)
