The Lodge at Glendorn is a family story. One that celebrates the magical moments of loved ones creating lifelong memories together. It's the story of how a close-knit family created a cherished destination. It begins with C. G. Dorn, fondly known as Bondieu, who purchased the property in 1927 as a retreat for his growing family.
Chef David S. Haick, a native of Buffalo, New York, brings over two decades of culinary arts experience to The Lodge at Glendorn. In the early portion of his career, Chef Haick received his bachelor's degree in Hospitality Administration from the State University College Buffalo, and Associates degree from the famed Culinary Institute of America.
Surrounded on one side by Pennsylvania's Allegheny National Forest, Glendorn is located in northwestern Pennsylvania, just outside the city of Bradford. Densely forested hills, up to 2100 feet in elevation provide shade and cool temperatures during the summer, colorful foliage during the fall and snow for winter activities.
We offer gift certificates that can be customized to enhance the recipient's Glendorn experience. Essentially, anything from our robust list of offerings at Glendorn can be gifted, including the entire stay! Specific monetary amounts can be allotted on a gift certificate too, to give the recipient the choice of spending on anything at Glendorn.

My husband and I have traveled world wide and we have never ever found a more accommodating,happy, caring group of people than we met at Glendorn. The food was incredible as was the flyfishing.. Cheers to Charles and Shane in the fishing world, Emily, Daniel, Kyle, Amy, Natalia of course , Victoria and anyone that we forgot as we loved u all. Oh Katie met us when we arrived and she was darling.. our room (redwood) was lovely and we loved having drinks and snacks on the beautiful patio.The resort was so beautiful with mums and pumpkins… KIndness is the word at Glendorn.. We for sure will return

The best of the best. We spent our Honeymoon here 15 years agp and it has only improved. The accommodations are unique, rustic and utterly comfortable. The staff is concerned with your enjoyment in everything from housekeeping to dining to fly fishing. It is truly a hand crafted experience. Come for that experience and return for the memories. You will never regret your decision.

Everything about the Lodge at Glendorn was magnificent! The service was phenomenal! Every member of the staff was so kind and helpful! The food was delicious! We used the grab and go fly fishing equipment and enjoyed a nice relaxing afternoon of fishing on the beautiful property. The fresh chocolate chip cookies were so yummy! Literally, everything was perfect. Wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely try to come back again!

The most amazing place to take a family for a wonderful vacation or a romantic getaway (we’ve done it both ways). You cannot go wrong with Glendorn. I’ve a fascination and love for this place from its rich… history to its now beautiful setting for vacation with nothing but the best food and most relaxing atmosphere. You can fish, hike, poolside or go to the lake, clay shoot, have a massage to name a few. We’ve been many times now and always look forward to our next Glendorn visit.

A hidden gem... if you are driving from Pittsburgh, Buffalo or any other city the photos and site do not do this place justice! The resort itself is small so the staff to guest ratio is excellent and they cater to everything that you need. It is excellent for a quiet getaway, you can have your own luxury cabin, enjoy smores and drinks by a campfire on their lakes, beautiful walks in the woods, laps in their beautiful food and their food is 5*, some of the best that I have had in my world travels.

The food will impress you and the… amenities will entertain you. If your looking to recharge your batteries this is the place. You can do as much or as little as you want. We brought our extended family of 10 to stay three nights to celebrate our patriarch’s 80th birthday. We stayed at Clayt’s cabin. Everything was spectacular! The staff were so nice. The food was really… really delicious. We took advantage of all of the activities and amenities truly a special special place. I cannot wait to come back Thank you so much!

We just finished a family weekend at Glendorn and it was as wonderful as it has always been. I never know how to explain this gem because it is rustic and elegant at the same time. The service is impeccable and the accommodations are either in amazing cabins, that still hearten to a different era or, amazing rooms in the spectacular Big House. In either case the amenities and the touches of elegant comfort are on par with what you would want from this Relais and Chateau property. We hiked, shot skeet and fly fished and no matter where you go or what you do the staff is always helpful but yet

Best getaway weekend of my life! My husband and I went there on our anniversary. We did cross country skiing, snow mobiling and skeet shooting. We had never done thise activities before but they had people there to show you how We stayed in one of the cabins. I felt so pampered. Every time we left and returned to the cabin, the fridge was restocked with soda, we had fresh snacks ( chocolate chip cookies were awesome) place was cleaned, fireplaces cleaned and ready for a new fire. All of the snacks and sodas/ water were all complementary so you did not feel like they were constantly nickel and

Our visit at the Glendorn was phenomenal. Everything was perfect and we couldn’t have asked for a better vacation. Upon our arrival, we already knew this place was special with how fantastic the staff was. The service here was rivaled by no one.
The activities were endless. We spent our few days here shooting, fishing, hiking, horse back riding, swimming, and spa. Everything was really fun and the staff helped us learn it all. We had no idea what we were doing at first. But with their guidance we were pros in no time :)

My partner and I enjoyed our stay at Glendorn, a most wonderfully wooded and secluded retreat. The location of the lodge is truly magnificent, surrounded by acres and acres of beautiful forest. Quietness abounds. Walking around the property is truly delightful in the Fall.
If you need to get away from it all, get back to nature, this is where you need to stay. The charming historic lodge is well maintained; the Green Suite is very spacious and wonderfully appointed. Dinner service was lovely enough.
One cannot go wrong staying here.

GREAT GREAT GREAT place. I can't stop raving about our weekend at Glendorn to our friends. You can make it as action packed and planned as you want, or as lazy and leisurely as you want, or a great mixture of both. My husband and I had a great weekend sans little ones where we hiked, canoed, and lazed about in front of a fire in our private lodge (The Roost is awesome). We also had in-room couples massage in front of the fire on a cold rainy day. You have access to free bikes, tennis, fly-rods, canoes, kayaks, you name it!
