Degenerative diseases and physical injuries can adversely affect your flexibility, range of motion, and overall quality of life. However, many conditions respond favorably to the right type of targeted therapy. A Certified Hand Therapist combines the practice and techniques of occupational and physical therapy to focus on the various dysfunctions and illnesses seen in the upper body extremities.

Hand Therapy is the art and science of restoring motion and functionality to the upper body. We serve patients in Barton, Pawnee, Rush, Rice, Stafford, and Russell Counties in Kansas. When you come to Achieve Rehab, you will see only one therapist each time. Your therapist, David Gonzales, is both an occupational therapist and certified hand therapist.
Services
In October of 2006, David and Karla Gonzales opened Achieve Rehab, Central Kansas' only outpatient rehab facility that specializes in the treatment of all conditions of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand. David is an occupational therapist and a certified hand therapist, and Karla is a certified occupational therapy assistant.
If you are experiencing pain and stiffness from inflammation, degenerative disease or injury, we can help. Achieve Rehab offers effective therapy for everything from hand pain to sports injuries. Take a look below for conditions that we can treat. The rotator cuff is a tendon that connects 4 muscles to the long bone of the upper arm, called the humerus.

David Gonzalez was my occupational therapist after my stroke. He is excellent and so are his facilities.
