Baucom & Mina Derm Surgery, LLC, is a dermatology practice dedicated to the surgical treatment of your skin. We specialize in Mohs surgery and advanced reconstruction for the removal and treatment of skin cancers. Dr. Baucom has been a respected Mohs surgeon in the Atlanta area since 1995. He has performed over 30,000 Mohs procedures. Focusing primarily on dermatologic surgery has allowed Dr. Baucom to provide a high level of surgical expertise to his patients. In addition to skin cancer surgery, Dr. Baucom performs cosmetic procedures including liposuction, fat transfer/grafting, neck lifts, scar revision, chemical peels, fillers, and botulinum toxin.
Scotia has more than 20 years of experience working in dermatology, and specifically in our office as the front office manager and scheduler. We are excited to have her take the lead as our Practice Administrator in 2020. She is originally from New York, and has been happily married for over 20 years with 2 wonderful children.

There is no substitute for additional formal training under the guidance of a mentor. Experience is the true education for any surgical specialty as has been demonstrated with other surgical specialties such as cardiac surgery, urology and gastrointestinal surgery. Mohs micrographic surgery involves an additional one to two years of training after residency.

I had MOHS surgery by Dr Baucom for a squamous cell cancer near my nose. I was scheduled quickly; had one short pre-op appointment; the surgery required only one round; was given throrough post-op instructions; and only required one short post-op appointment. Dr. Baucom, the staff and the facility were all great. Very satisfied.

Dr Mina, I just want to Thank you so very much for taking such good care of me and my nose . You treated my nose like it was your own. When I sent you a text about a question I had, you answered right away and soothed my nerves.
The front desk people where always courteous, and helpful, your nurses where calming and knowledgeable, and the billing department was helpful as well.

Dr. Bacon has surgically removed two cancerous growths on me. In 2014 I had a basal cell growth close to my eye. The cancer was deep but the good news is that Dr. Baucom's surgery was successful with that one visit. I healed beautifully. I appreciate Dr. Baucom's professional skills, his honesty and his kindness. His office staff is highly professional and makes every effort to ensure that the patient's needs are addressed and that they are comfortable.
