Environmental and Geotechnical Services, LLC ("EGS") is a consulting firm located in Fairfield, Essex County, New Jersey. We offer a broad range of environmental services including site remediation using traditional technologies as well as innovative technologies for cost-effective solutions. Established in 2007, EGS has a staff that includes experienced environmental professionals.

The project management team includes a professional geologist and Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP), geologist, and environmental scientist. EGS also has an AutoCAD department for professional presentation of drawings and GIS-compliant maps. All personnel are OSHA-certified for hazardous waste operations.
Services
Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) / Due Diligence projects require timely, accurate, and reliable reports. For clients involved in an acquisition, sale, lease, merger, etc., EGS can provide a comprehensive assessment in accordance with standards set forth by ASTM, financial institutions, or by state regulations.
Geotechnical Engineering services encompass all phases including subsurface investigation, geotechnical analysis, evaluation of data, and design of foundation system. EGS geotechnical engineers have provided services for various clients in the institutional, commercial, and industrial fields. SubsurfaceInvestigations involve the examination of soil conditions and properties to aid in the development of geotechnical analysis.
Unregulated underground storage tank (UST) owners in New Jersey are now required to utilize the services of UST-certified individuals to perform tank services such as closure/removal and cleanup. Unregulated heating oil USTs include all residential tanks and those non-residential tanks that have a capacity of 2000 gallons or less and used to store heating oil for onsite consumption.
