Old Barn Market & Gluten Free Bakery
Old Barn Market is proud to be the only true gluten free bakery in the Greater Binghamton Area. Our kitchen is kept to strict standards so all of our baked goods are safe for everyone to enjoy. Many of our items can be baked to include your diet, including vegan and dairy free. Your food should always taste as if it was just picked.

All produce is sourced with responsible farm practices, allowing you peace of mind that what you are eating is healthy and environmentally friendly. Your neighbors supply us with the products in our store. Shopping at Old Barn Hollow not only supports our small family owned business, but also benefits local farmers and artisans, helping to boost our region's economy by keeping the money local.
Services
Old Barn Market began in Karen and Jeff Allen's Chenango Bridge farmhouse in 2008. Karen's hobby of canning and preserving started taking off with rave reviews and decided to start selling locally at the Otsiningo Farmer's Market. The demand for these delicious sweets skyrocketed. With a busy life as a full time science teacher, raising four girls with her husband Jeff, Karen couldn't keep up with the demand for her homemade goods.
We stand by every item in our store. Time is spent getting to know our farmers, producers, and craftsmen, making sure that each item is something we would be proud to use ourselves. The produce and meat we sell is certified organic or sustainably raised. The farms that our products come from are ethically and environmentally sound so there is never a threat of chemicals, pesticides, hormones, or other unnatural by-products.
Gluten free baked goods should be delicious, unique and of course safe. That is why we are proud to be the only 100% gluten-free bakery in the Greater Binghamton area. Our kitchen, ovens and equipment are kept strictly for gluten free items, so there is never a risk of contamination. A variety of our delicious goods can also fit other dietary restrictions including dairy free and upon request, vegan.
What is a CSA? When you become a member of a CSA, you're purchasing a "share" of food from a regional farm. The farm then delivers to a location for pick up at locations around the area. Basic shares on average include 7-10 types of vegetables, plenty for a small family. Most CSA's have options for larger households or offer items like fruit or meat as well.

The café here at Old Barn Market carries on the legacy of Laveggio coffee who have decided to step back from the coffee bar side of things and focus just on coffee roasting. OBM staff is always a delight to visit, and really seem to love and care for the work they do. How can you beat local, well- roasted coffee prepared expertly, and served with enjoyment?

I really want to like this place, but I have tried a wide variety of their baked goods and while some are just ok, some I've hard to throw out because they just taste bad. Most recently I thew out a pumpkin cookie because it was just awful. I'm sure there are gluten free options out there that do taste good, although it might be a limited selection. I'm not sure what they're doing (maybe using an alternative sweetener or other nontraditional ingredients) or if it's because items are dairy free as well as gluten free, but the taste is just not good despite the very nice apperance. The place is cute

Leaving the Bay Area means leaving the comfort of plenty of gluten free options. On a visit to Binghamton I was delighted to find Old Barn which is even better than my usual gluten free spot in the Bay. Their pastries are addicting (favs: lemon cake and pumpkin chocolate bread) and the gluten free pastas they carry are the best I've had. So many other great things to mention including the welcoming staff but check it out for yourself and don't leave without grabbing a Kombucha on tap!

Awesome array of gluten-free baked goods and jams made in house (they taste just like regular baked goods). Plus locally sourced meats and dairy! Great choice if you're looking to add more local food to your diet.

OMG! Just opened a jar of peaches we received as a gift from Old Barn Market and they are amazing! Sweet and crunchy! Not like canned peaches that tend to be artificially sweetened and mushy. A burst of sunshine in a jar. Love em! I plan to stock up (if there are any left)

Nice hipster health and alternative food store in Binghamton. Broad selection of mostly local products you just don't find elsewhere. Lots of gluten free products. Unusual selection of exotic meats.

I was buying cupcakes for my Granddaughters' class for her birthday. Two of her classmates require gluten free food. No one except Old Barn Market had them. The selection was extensive. Thank you Old Barn.

Cozy little place! Nice selection of organic and other healthy foods. They carry a bunch of gluten-free baked goods. They seem to always have free samples of one of the various coffee bean varieties they sell. They also have a cooler with some fresh, presumbaly local produce.

Cute place, excellent location right on state Street DT near the galleries
I bought some really unbelievably good hummus here. It's a quaint shop that doesn't try to present itself as a grocery, yet has a surprising variety of clean, organic food. The baked goods looked incredible as well.
