Independent Life is licensed by the PA Department of Health as a non-medical homecare agency offering RN, LPN, Home Health Aide and Companion services. All staff is trained and supervised by an RN/Nurse Practitioner. Our agency caregivers are licensed, insured and bonded. Our service area includes Luzerne, Lackawanna Counties and the surrounding areas as your provider of choice for those we are privileged to serve.
Independent Life is owned and operated by a RN/Nurse Practitioner with 30 years in the health care/home care industry who will supervise care and ensure each client's individual needs are met. We utilize state of the art software that allows families to follow the care provided and the progress of their loved one.
A: No, although the name would imply so. We also provide care in Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs), Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), Hospitals. Should you be recovering in someone elses home (such as your daughter or sons), we can provide care in an alternate setting. We can also accompany you to a social function.

Horrific owner who stalks former employees with threats when you leave her agency. Incompetence and stupidity at every level. Stay far away as possible. There is a black cloud over that agency that will try to intimidate you and bring you down to her level.
