Glow Nail Bar LLC provides natural and artificial nail services to women and men in the Charleston area with beauty, health, safety and affordability in mind. If your Polish chips within 3 days of service, come in and have it redone at no cost to you. Glow Nail Bar LLC offers a wide variety of polish, gel polish, 3D designs, nail patch design, nail enhancements and art techniques to each client.
If your polish chips within 3 days of your service, call and make an appointment to have your polish redone at no cost to you. Please let us know if you are pregnant, have diabetes, allergies, injuries or any other health conditions. Your appointment will be lost 15 minutes after your scheduled appointment time.

I'm new to the area. They asked me to leave a review so here it is. The only thing good about this place is the lady have good conversations at times. But overall this place isn't it. They rush doing your nails. I have to beg for cuticle oil. No base coat. Burning. No soap when time to wash your hands. Pink mold and mildew in the foot tub. Then have the nerve to include a tip in the price. Unfortunately I will not be returning.

I used to like this place, but they are overpriced for sure. Not to mention they take FOREVER to do your services. I stopped going there because the last time I went there, I got a soak off. The girl that did it burned me 3 times while she was filing the acrylic off. It hurt SOOOO bad. I didn’t even want to dip my nails back in the acetone because of the fact that she burned me more than once. Due to the prices, the length of time they take, and the fact that I was physically hurt, I won’t be returning.

A Lesson For Today -
Today my mini's & I were turned away from two nail salons. Both stated walk ins were welcome, neither had a wait. They made us wait, asked what we wanted done & after hearing that we wanted mani pedis they brought up staffing or stated we needed an appointment to be served! I have to be completely honest & say that it really didn't sit right with me. As a business owner myself, I can understand staffing & scheduling issues. What I refuse to support is people who are in the people business that don't have a heart for them. If you don't

Nice and clean inside, friendly staff. They clean their jets but don’t use a plastic liner. Nail tech was over 30 minutes late to my appointment. My pedicure did not include more than half of the things that it said it would include on the online booking site. I got the hot cobble stone massage and it was not worth 50 bucks. You don’t get any lotion on your feet. Only hot rocks and a hot towel -_-. Word of advice, change the services on the website to what they are in the shop. I was disappointed in that service because it should’ve included more than that. Online it says there’s hot paraffin

While I enjoy complimentary wine while getting a pedicure, this place isn't worth it. I always get gel polish to save on time and I decided to book an appointment for a detox pedicure. After reading reviews, the service I was provided was not a detox pedicure. I asked the lady (Michelle) who did my nails because something seemed off and she blatantly lied. Going back to me setting an appointment. I booked the earliest appointment available (9am on a Saturday) to get in and out. First time visiting the Glow Nail Bar and I am pleased. I had the sweetest nail technician who was very attentive. Had to be the best pedicure I've had at any salon so far! My nails look and feel great! Visiting family in the area and have tried a few other local Summerville salons and always left disappointed. So glad I gave this salon a chance. If you're looking for a salon in the area, definitely try them. Friendly staff, Excellent work, & upscale vibe.

I have tried multiple nail salons all over Charleston, Goose Creek, Mount Pleasant, and finally here in North Charleston. Michelle does the BEST job! I asked for a full set of acrylics and she was the first to actually trim my cuticles before placing the tips and acrylic!
She files the acrylic down to the perfect thickness, even underneath the nail too! I will definitely be back!

This is a follow up to a previous review I gave for Glow Nail Bar. It was only after the owner read my 'not so glowing' comments, that she contacted me. I agreed to go back in and have her take a look at my nails. She explained the reason for the very thick gel polish, and she said she did it thick so that my nails wouldn't break. I wished she had asked me, because I didn't like how bulbous and thick my nails looked. So, when I returned two days ago, I decided to just have the gel polish taken off this time, and had her put a coat of regular, clear polish on them.

Just moved to the area and went to this nail salon because of the 4 star rating. The customer service is great but the quality of work is not what I expected. I got a pedicure with gel polish. I left this establishment with skin still peeling from the bottom of my foot, polish on my skin. I definitely will not be going back. If their quality of work matched their level of customer service I would have given a 5 star rating with no question. I’m thoroughly disappointed.

I love my nails! This was my first experience getting acrylic nails. My nail techs were nice and they both did a great job for the pedicure and full set. I'm looking for a new salon to go to since I recently moved and I will definitely be back. I didn't give 5 stars due to timeliness because they weren't ready at my appointment time, but they made up for it by acknowledging it and being genuinely apologetic. The quality of work for the cost was agreeable. I look forward to my next visit!

I don't believe Wilmary is there anymore which sucks.
This time I had Willamarie and she was phenomenal!!! I tried an accent nail and matte finish for the first time! I love the way she handled my hands. I'll book her for me feet next time.

Iesha is a magician when it comes to my eyebrows. She alone gets five stars.
When you arrive, there's no receptionist to help keep their costs low- so you sign in and wait for someone to help you. There's a sign that says you may have to wait up to 30 mins, even with an appointment. I waited 40 minutes today for my eyebrows to be done, after being told I didn't need to make an appointment and to just come in. Finally someone checked on

It was clean, and bright! I really like the way they are set up, and their decor. The lights hanging from their ceiling add a nice touch.
I went in without an appointment for a pedicure and a dip manicure (around 10/10:30am on a Friday). I was seated at a pedicure station within about 5 minutes.
Alexis, my nail tech, was nice and is good at what she does. She did a really great job at making my feet softer (they were pretty rough looking, and feeling, when I walked in). She took her time and my feet look and feel so much better!

I wish there were negative stars. My daughter flew in town to celebrate my birthday. I made appointments for us several days in advance. Michelle the person in charge even helped make the appointments. We arrived and had to wait over an hour to get service started. Due to walk ins being taken first. Michelle then told me my appointments we not put in computer right by someone and i had to explain she did it. I heard sorry non Stop and nothing was done to correct the situation.

I have been going to this nail salon for 3 years. The upkeep of the salon has been going downhill since it's gotten new management. The hand washing area is dirty, the brushes are old and dirty and the last two times I've come for my regularly scheduled services, there have not been clean towels to dry your hands. I've seen bugs in the salon, which was unheard of in the past.
The massager on the chair I was sitting in for my service last week was not working. A few weeks ago there were not enough jets available so I did not have that as part of my service.

I've never had such unprofessional service in a nail salon. I scheduled an appointment and still had to wait over an hour. The young lady that was supposed to be doing my pedicure was more concerned about giving a birthday present to someone than taking care of a client that had been waiting a long time for an "appointment" not a walk-in.
I would not recommend this salon. If I could give zero star I would because that's what they deserve.

Just moved to charleston and was looking to for an affordable nail salon. This had good reviews, I was able to get an early morning appointment, was seated as soon as I got there. The place is clean and pretty inside. They use a new set of nail care supplies with each client which I found to be a plus!! The quality of the nail paint and job done is great!
However, I was charged super expensive amount for a mani (W gel nailpaint remover and new gel paint) and a regular pedi. It will be helpful if they work on their pricing...

This review is long over due. I've been going to glow ever since they have opened. I have always been pleased with their cleanliness, friendliness, and quality of work.
They offer both opi and dnd nail polish. Opi has the more classic colors while dnd is trendier.
Minor wishlist is that glow management would stock the new seasonal opi color collections
I always ask for Nery. Her work is the best. Precise lines and my gel manicure always last at least 3 weeks.

Place is clean and cute inside. I want to like it since it's close to my house but after 3 trips with different techs I've never been satisfied. This last time was the worst- nearly $60 for a soak off and dip- not only did it look like I had a week of grow out, on some nails the dip didn't even reach the side. The tech didn't even massage my hands or use lotion- so I left with dry hands. Now not even a week later I have two big chips in my nails.

This is the second time I've been to Glow and both times my nails look amazing. Love that they offer a polish change option. They focus on quality and do not rush. This will be my new regular place!
Only con is that they do charge $5 for gel polish removal but both visits they were careful to soak the gel long enough to not tear up my natural nails.

2--Alicia did not wear gloves while working on my toes
3--Alicia used the same buffer, file, cuticle snipper and toe nail trimmer on both my friend and I without sanitizing it after each use
4--Alicia charged my friend Luna with a "quick pedicure" when all she asked for was a simple polish change (if that's not on the menu she should have told us and we would have declined the quick pedi)

This nail salon is very stylish and has the cutest decor. They seem to have all of the most current tools and equipment...from the pedicure chairs to the desk lighting at the manicure tables. I was very impressed with how light and clean the nail salon was.
I was greeted immediately upon entering. While I was picking out my nail color, my nail tech came up to me and introduced herself and offered me a beverage.
