I never write reviews but it's important to not understate how much I've valued the assistance of obtaining and changing policies at Carolyn Dorsey's office. Lee has been amazing! Over the last two years we've moved all of our insurance to his agency due to their level of professionalism, value and responsiveness. There are a ton of options out there including perceivably simple online quotes. While receiving those quotes may be convenient it's been my experience that obtaining real information from "simple" online services after the fact is nearly impossible. Lee and the staff at Carolyn Dorsey

I almost never write online reviews, but my experience with Carolyn Dorsey and her staff has been absolutely outstanding. We moved to Pittsburgh during the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis, and despite numerous changes and complexities, her staff never failed to go out of their way to find solutions and respond to all our questions and concerns, and get our policies transferred over to PA.
A few months later, when we were purchasing a house, the policy we thought would work initially turned out to not be usable. To solve this, one of her staff members worked with us nonstop over several days,

I spoke to Kim and she helped me set up a policy. She was very nice and answered all my questions. A few days after I started the policy I did not receive an email confirmation so I called and Shelly answered the phone.
To make a long story short It seemed as if Shelly was rushing me while I was trying to explain my request and she got so rude that I had to get off the phone with her. She placed me on hold without saying anything. When I said something to her about it she tried to talk over me and acted like she as doing me a favor by helping me with my request. So I ended my policy with this

I really haven't had any issues at all with State Farm and when we moved to Pittsburgh we decided to go with Carolyn Dorsey's office due to the close proximity. Either way, this choice was great because we have always been taken care of. Our renter's insurance, cars, and our stuff is insured by them. Because we bundle we get a pretty decent rate too.
Every time we have a question on our policy or have to make changes. Their customer service at their office or even their national line when I call outside business hrs has been great.
