J & J Glass specializes in hurricane impact-resistant glass systems for residential, commercial and condominium buildings in Naples and Marco Island.
J & J Glass is locally owned and has been in operation since 1981 for hurricane glass protection in Collier and Lee counties. We provide an unmatched service of superior quality workmanship, using trusted employees to complete your project in condominiums and premier single family homes. Together we protect.
We are strong advocates for using WinDoor, Inc. windows and sliding glass doors, YKK America storefront and curtainwall systems, and Portalp automatic door systems. Each offers 'best in class' products with the highest design pressures, large custom sizes and innovative options to better serve our customers.
High wind speeds create positive and negative pressures. These pressures tear-out windows and doors, break glass from flying debris and force rain into your home. The Florida Building Code (FBC) addresses these issues by defining a set of test parameters for manufacturers to pass. If successful, products are granted a Florida Approval Number.
The minimum requirement to meet with hurricane protection is impact-resistant glass, but there other glass packages available including impact-resistant with insulated glass, impact-resistant with low-E coated glass, and impact-resistant with insulated glass and low-E coated glass (see Energy codes for an understanding of the differences).

J&J repaired a piece of broken hurricane glass in my slider. Other companies said it couldn’t be done properly and now it looks brand new. Service exceeded expectations with every member of staff I dealt with...the sales rep (Oliver), the office staff (Melissa) and the two gentleman that meticulously repaired the window were friendly and polite. Thank you J&J!!!!
