Do you find yourself waking up with pain in your back? If so, you might have sciatica. While back pain and sciatica are similar, they still have differences and are often confused. Back pain is specifically found in the upper, middle, or lower back. Sciatica can radiate pain down the back, buttock, thigh, and even to the legs.
Your neck is an integral part of everyday movement, and severe pain can prevent you from functioning properly in your day-to-day life. Neck pain also causes debilitating and extremely uncomfortable sensations, especially if the pain stretches from your neck to your shoulders.

When I first came into Lycoming Physical Therapy I was getting cortisone shots and looking at surgery on my shoulder for a rotator cuff tear. PT was great - my motion is great and my strength is good - no surgery yet! One year ago I had my left shoulder replaced -- the newest Reverse Shoulder Replacement as my shoulder was arthritic and the rotator cuff was gone!
I have received exceptional physical therapy care at Lycoming Physical Therapy on many instances. I have been treated in their facility for recovery after back surgery, total knee replacement, knee surgery and after my back fusion. It was a great experience as the team was friendly and effective. I had no problems with insurance coverage.

First, allow me to say that I have had all my PT completed at Lycoming PT at Montoursville until they came to Muncy. Due to falls, surgery, and simply the body showing some aging, I visit periodically. Through the years I have had awesome, compassionate, and thorough care. I feel like family when I enter the building. I trust the therapists’ knowledge to aid in my recovery. They are creative, efficient. and ready to do all they can. I want to thank Tracy with her well organized system at the front desk, Sarah, who encourages me to do more for my own well-being to reach my goals, and Alex, who
