Zak is a photographer based in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Born and raised in the beautiful Pennsylvania countryside, Zak grew up with a camera always in his hand. An international education in the arts and several early gallery exhibitions of his work quickly led to years of world travel in pursuit of the beautiful.
Since first gaining international recognition for his innovative wall-sized enlargements of polaroid images taken in Tokyo, his star has not stopped rising. After returning to Pennsylvania with three books published under his name, nearly a decade of photographing weddings worldwide, and countless memories, his unique style of seeing the light in this world is now available for your weddings, portraits, or special events.

Zak was beyond amazing. Due to a last minute cancellation, we ended up hiring Zak the week of our wedding - I couldn’t be happier things ended up the way they did! Zak made us feel so comfortable and really made the process of getting our photos taken fun and enjoyable. We received many complements on his professionalism and how phenomenal he was. He even offered to pick up happy meals when our caterer forgot the meals we’d ordered for the children at our wedding - if that doesn’t speak to the kind of person Zak is, I don’t know what does.

Amazing to work with! Zak was our first vendor chosen for our wedding, and we could not have been happier with this decision. I was involved with Zak for a shoot at the Everhart Museum. In summary, this is the photographer you want to work with. Not only is he at one with his equipment and the subject being shot, Zak knows how to work with people.
I would also point out that Zak is not using current technology as a cover to say he is a photographer. Hand Zak and old… Pentax 1000 or a Nikon f2 and a darkroom developer will reveal prints arguably better than todays digital does -it-all for you cameras.

We couldn't have had a better experience with Zak! I wanted beautiful images that captured our special day, and he went above and beyond. We took our engagement pictures together, which I would highly recommend. He took the time to get to know us as a couple and get a feel for what we were looking for. Then for the wedding, it was all smooth… sailing. I gave him a schedule, which he followed perfectly. Zak was familiar with our venue and had great suggestions. Our experience with Zak was amazing from start to finish. For our wedding, I was looking for a photographer with a more natural style, not too posed. Zak’s website stood out and he was able to meet with us… right away, even though we were still a year and a half out from the wedding. He was kind and knowledgeable and made us feel at ease about choosing him for our day. We also did engagement photos with him, and they turned out awesome, so we knew we made the right choice. I don’t even know where to start! Zak is not your average wedding photographer, he’s truly an artist. He sees the beauty beyond the obvious. He did our engagement as well as our wedding photos and I couldn’t be… happier with them. He made sure we got all of the wedding party and family shots done quickly so we could get to partying!
