I'm Roland Evans of Boulder Colorado. I've been a psychotherapist for 40 years, working with individuals and couples. I've had a rich and stimulating career working with different people from all walks of life. I was born in Ireland and worked at many different jobs before I decided to become a psychologist in my late 20's.
Therapy has three main focuses: to resolve your immediate crisis, to explore your life experiences, and to help you grow and develop as a person. Resolve the Crisis: Our first task is to settle your pressing problems as quickly as possible. We first get a clear idea of your difficulties and then use different strategies and therapeutic modalities to help resolve the difficult situation.
I offer online consultations via Zoom. This works well for individuals and couples who find it difficult or impossible to meet face-to-face, including overseas clients. Sessions via the internet are as effective as office visits and allow clients to experience psychological insight and support while remaining in their own familiar environment.
Many of us yearn to experience our true nature more fully, but find ourselves distracted by the demands of everyday life. This program is your opportunity to reach beyond the mundane to contact the essence of who you are. Jung's concept of Individuation is the springboard for deepening your hero's journey of self-discovery and integration.
Hero's Inner Journey Part 1 - a video presentation on the inner aspects of the hero's journey and how it applies to Individuation (27 minutes). Hero's Inner Journey Part II - a video presentation on the second part of the hero's journey with emphasis on the Quest and suggestions for practice (15 minutes).
