Cutting speeds can approach 4,000 inches per minute in some cases. Our CL-440 and CL-960 have cutting pallet dimensions of 6' x 12' and 5' x 10' respectively. Additionally, our laser processing produces clean and smooth edges requiring little to no grinding or sanding. Laser etching is also offered on certain materials when precise graduations, labels, or other markings are needed.
The Strippit 1500 H30 hydraulic is just one of four punch presses available for production at Quincy Metal Fabricators. It can accommodate sheet sizes of up to 60" x 102" without reclamping, and has a fully programmable stroke. This allows us to specify the speed and position of the piston throughout every stage of the program.
Quincy Metal Fabricators has five CNC press brakes, all of which operate with hydraulic cylinders for added accuracy and safety. They also utilize servo-controlled back gauges for incredible repeatability of +-0.005. Our two largest brakes are 12 feet wide, and have an extra-tall 18 shut height for deep folds, and 230 ton capacity.
