At Progressive Family Dentistry we believe that Dentistry is an art as well as a science; dental crowns offer a perfect example of this. A dental crown or "cap" is a covering that fits over a damaged, decayed, root canal treated or unattractive tooth. It can even replace a tooth entirely as part of dental bridgework.
There are many options when replacing missing teeth. Dental implants are by far the best. A dental implant is a screw-shaped titanium post that replaces the root-part of a missing tooth. The procedure used to place an implant screw is generally performed by an oral surgeon. During a minor surgical procedure, your dental implant is inserted directly into the jawbone in the space vacated by the missing tooth.

I have personally worked in the dental field for 24years. I am new to the Summerville area. I was in pain with a tooth so I called Dr.Corella and the front desk got me in right away. Amanda the Dental Assistant was very sweet and took a really good diagnostic X-ray of the tooth. Dr.Corella came in the room quickly and gave me a diagnosis. He is very professional and has a great Chair side manner. I would definitely be a patient of record at this office.

Since 2007 Dr. Corella has been my dentist. I easily refer others to him because of his tremendous abilities, kindness, and cost effectiveness. He stays up to date, continues to reflect on best practices with his staff through in-service training. Consistent attention to patient history and needs is provided from secretary to hygienist to Dr. Corella himself.

I have been a patient with Dr. Corella since 1993. The office staff is always cheerful, courteous, caring and helpful. I'm sure this is from the exemptular attitude of the Dr. Corella. He is always concerned with the best plan of action for the individual patient and does not perform unnecessary procedures. He is compassionate with each patients well being beyond their oral health. A visit to this practice is like going to see family. Best dentist in the Charleston area.

No complaints coming from a guy who hates going to the dentist. Dr. Corella is the best dentist in the Summerville area. He and his team makes you feel welcome and they do not judge you at all. He tells you straight on what needs to get and let's you decide on what you need to do. I recommend Dr. Corella and his team for any dental needs

I went to Dr. John as an emergency patient. I was from out of state and in pain. He and his dental assistant were welcoming, kind and thorough,. Dr. John was an excellent diagnostician and gave me options to solve my dental problem. I felt very comfortable with him and his staff and would highly recommend them for any of your dental needs.

Dr Corella, Natalie and all the staff are great! The office is always friendly, inviting and clean. They have helped me tremendously with a couple crowns I had done before I moved down here. The was my first appointment with Dr. Corella. The office and dental personnel and atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. The examination prior to seeing Dr. Corella was extremely thorough. The assessment by Dr. Corella was clear as to the condition and appropriate follow-up care. The dental hygienist was wonderful. She even gave me a blanket when I said I was cold. I highly recommend this office for your dental needs.
