Welcome to Circle Pines Motel, located right along Highway 12 in Waubay, South Dakota on the south side of Blue Dog Lake. If fishing and/or hunting is your thing, the Circle Pines Motel is where you want to be as we are located in the heart of some of the best walleye fishing, perch ice fishing and waterfowl hunting anywhere.

Services
All rooms have digital cable TV, air-conditioning, electric heat, and phones for local use. Each room has a microwave and small refrigerator. Double rooms have two double beds, but no table or chairs. All of the other amenities available in the single rooms are found in the double rooms. We do have a double and single room that adjoin and we have a special rate of $96.30/night plus tax if rented in combination.
There is a nice kitchen with everything furnished, including microwave, coffee pot, toaster, crock pot, dishes, pans, and utensils. There are usually two docks in the lake but this year with the high water that feature may not be available. There is an outside outlet to charge your boat battery and ample place to park several boat trailers.
Just east of the motel we have a very nice shaded picnic area for our guests to use. There are several picnic tables, grills, and a fire pit that can be used to roast hot dogs, smores, or even burgers, brats or steaks if you want to cook on an open fire. On the west end of the motel, we have a couple of picnic tables under the pine trees for those who might be looking for a more secluded place.
We have one of the nicest fish and game cleaning facilities around. It is an all season facility with steel tables and cutting boards, water of course, and even a bathroom. We have plenty of ground-fault protected outlets for electric knives. There is a full size freezer and refrigerator with freezing compartment.

Dinner menu served daily during summer months from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm. Winter hours 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Sunday through Thursday and 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm Friday and Saturday.
