I made an appointment here through my insurance plan and then made the mistake of reading reviews. I almost canceled. I found that people complained about all the places anyway. I was already hesitant to use a chain but was really behind schedule with my eye exam. When I went in, the receptionist was very nice and friendly. The optometrist/ophthalmologist was so nice and helpful. The appointment was so quick. No one tried to sell me anything I didn't need. All staff were helpful in answering questions. I found it to be affordable. When I went in to pick up my glasses, staff were so friendly

I'm not understanding any of these low ratings here. They are really high priced but I have been going for probably15 years and no one has ever asked me about Lasik or tried to rip me off. If something sounds high make them turn the screen around to you and explain it line by line. You are ultimately responsible for what you pay by agreeing without asking questions. Samira knows more about the business end than Dr. Long or any of the optometrists she has worked for/with. I go once a year and she remembers everything about me and my family, what kind of frames I like, down to the color

The staff (especially Samira) is absolutely wonderful and keeps me coming back. They are quick and very caring. The only draw back is that the doctors are very very pushy about lasik. On the plus side, they do offer honest opinions about how you look on your glasses too which I find very nice. I will continue coming back for the foreseeable future.

The fast-talking optician at Crown Vision Ladue tried to rip us off. We told her we wanted basic glasses for our son because his prescription is low and he gets a new pair every year. She promised to "take care" of us but first we had to buy the membership package for $40. With the coupon in there, we got a "discount" and ended up with a bill of $500 for the glasses. She insisted that was the only option available. We paid the bill but did our research online later and realised she had sold us the "Ultimate Plus" package. We went to another branch and got the polycarbonate

I knew it was time to strengthen my prescription but was not looking forward to going through "all that." However, the experience was a really good one from the moment I stepped into the store. The team was friendly, but not pushy. They got the eye exam done fast, explained the issue (need bi-focals) and Samir made the steps of picking out frames actually fun and easy, by steering me away from the frames that didn't fit my face. If I had known it was going to be that simple, I wouldn't have waited so long! I've been to other stores over the past years and know this is company

They may life easier here by allowing you to schedule your appointment online and then, when you get there, you never have to wait to get in, get your exam, and then you're off. The staff is very friendly and professional. The person who helped me find new frames was very accommodating and has a good eye for picking what I described. It's very conveniently located, too. Staff is friendly and very professional. They have several styles of glasses and also a location where you can get a free Lasik scan. I had a problem with the fit of my initial contacts, they got me in the next day for an appointment for a fitting. Downside is that I only received a small discount with my insurance.

The staff is always very friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make sure you receive the best value and are patient while you ask questions about your exam or while you choose eye wear. I wish they had a larger selection of frames and that their computer system was better (few hiccups with my information), but that's it. I'm a repeat customer.

This store's service is horrible. If you only go to the vision check and they make you sign all kinds of paper work and then charge you all kinds of fees. Even asked me to sign a paper while I have taken off my contact lens. Full of traps. Never go that store. My insurance co-pay is $10 for vision check and I ended up to pay almost $100 just for vision check without ordering any contact lens . Plus they gave a pair of contact lens with much less power and told me I can have it for a month. This store is a joke. In Ladue and Clayton areas, there is no other store like that.
