With over 30 years experience in lawn care, Bill genuinely enjoys what he does for a living. When he was twelve years old, he began a small landscaping business, named Henderson Landscaping in his Havertown neighborhood. His retired neighbor Mr. Keller drove him to each customer's home to work. Throughout high school and college, he continued to develop his landscaping business.
In 2007, Bill decided to pursue his passion of lawn fertilization by transitioning Henderson Landscaping to Henderson Fertilizing. When he's not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and having fun in the Poconos riding dirtbikes, fishing, and snowboarding. Carrie is a graduate of Penn State University and has been involved in the lawn care business since 2001.

Get a FREE soil pH test and FREE lime application when you sign up for our lawn care program. We are a local, family-owned lawn care and pest control company. We pride ourselves in providing our customers with the personalized service that you would expect from a family-owned company. We achieve superior results by using organic based products applied using industry leading equipment by Certified PA Applicators.
The organic material helps energize microbes in the soil which helps your lawn look its best! Our lawn care program consists of 7 applications from late February through November. We will help your lawn be the envy of the neighborhood this year! One of our certified technicians will assess your property and provide your custom estimate.
We offer a preventative grub application which is applied in June/July to protect your lawn. This is your best defense against grubs! If you did not receive the grub preventative and become infested with grubs, we can apply a curative application to control the population. We apply a granular product that controls grubs instantly once watered in.
Soil pH is expressed as a number to the nearest tenth of a point. Optimal soil pH is between 6.8 and 6.9, which is considered slightly acidic. When your soil pH is in that range, it will most efficiently use the food we are giving it and look its best. A soil pH reading of 7.0 is neutral. If it is above 7.0, the soil is considered alkaline.
One of the most vital elements to a lawn care program is core aerating and seeding. Core aeration is a mechanical process that pokes inch x 2-3 inch cores in your lawn. This process allows air and water to penetrate deep into the soil which promotes deeper, healthier root systems. When seeding occurs simultaneously, the result is a thicker, greener, more weed free lawn!
